We also rent a newly renovated photographic studio facility that provides clients with a private and dedicated shooting and production space where photographers, art directors, catalogues and magazines can realize their creative vision.

Our equipment room is filled with cameras, grip and lighting from the worlds leading manufacturers such as Canon, Nikon, Hasselblad, Profoto, and Broncolor. We also offer various expendable items for sale including foamcore, tape and batteries making us a one stop shop for all clients.

Splashlight is the only Photo studio in Miami that provides our own delivery service so that clients experience maximum convenience.

Our facility, located in the heart of Wynwood, is considered to be one of the best in Miami.

Not only is our studio and equipment the best available, but the Splashlight team is well trained and experienced to make sure that all clients get 5-​star service.

History

Established in 2002.

Splashlight was started in New York as a pioneering studio specializing in digital equipment and 5 star service.

The original vision for Splashlight was to provide a shooting experience that combined the principles of a luxury hotel with the latest digital technologies that were just being introduced into the market as film was being replaced with digital.

Henry Geddes and Benoit Lagarde opened up the first studio in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, where the partners quickly brought on board major clients such as Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Nieman Marcus, Victoria’s Secret and Porsche to name a few.

Splashlight opened Miami in 2004 and acquired Studio South in 2005. Soon thereafter, Splashlight New York expanded into 65 000.00 square feet in Soho and then into Montréal, Canada.

Today, Henry and Benoit are still actively involved in the business making sure the original vision of going above and beyond remains strong!

Business Owner

Henry Geddes began his career in photography at the International Center of Photography in New York City and gained his expertise from working the largest and most fabled of photo studios in the city. This led to him opening his own production facility called Splashlight Studios in 2001. With clients like Neiman Marcus, Calvin Klein, Barneys, Warner Brothers, Nike, Porsche, Macy’s, Vogue, Elle and W, Henry understands how important the proper lighting leading to presentation can be.

Splashlight Studios has grown significantly over the past 13 years and today successfully operates out of New York, Montréal and Miami, as one of the most recognized and respected names in the industry.

With over 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur, business owner, and photographer, Henry knew the world would need lighting solutions and products for use in video chats.

Together with partner, Ian Shiell, Henry launched www​.chat​light​.com in 2011.
