This location is closed! Unilocal and staples didn’t bother changing their listing. Drove all the way only to find an available sign on the door.

I don’t even know where too begin with the poor, strange experience I had at this store. Today, I decided to go get something laminated there for my office. Simple right? I printed it at the office, then took it down the road to get laminated. First, I arrived to the copy center, where there was one customer in front of me, being taken care of by a store employee(apparently a supervisor of some sort). After about 5 minutes of standing around, realizing there was no chance the employee was going to tell me she’d «be right with me», or anything of the sort, I asked her to confirm if they did laminating, which she said yes(by this time, she had taken a phone call and was answering a question on the phone, while still trying to assist the other customer.) Then, another young employee arrived, and the supervisor began to jokingly argue with her about her being late. They went on and on, until the employee read aloud a text or email she had received, confirming her schedule(not terrible yet, but definitely not ideal conversation in front of customers, and absolutely not preferable to taking prompt care of customers). Eventually, the employee came to help me with my laminating. I asked how much it was, she said 99 cents, OK, great, let’s do this! So, she botched it up the first try, and it came out wrinkly and subpar. Unfortunately, it hadn’t occurred to me to bring more than 1 copy. So, the girl said not to worry, she would copy it, from the laminated copy, and do it again.(Which I knew would compromise the quality… whatever). But, OK, let’s try again, and get this project done… take two! Oh wait, she said, «this time there is a hair in the laminate». So, et’s try a third time(the charm, I know). But, you’re going to have to wait, said the young lady, because there’s about 260 copies coming out of the machine now, from a third customer who has arrived since I got there.(I’m trying to understand why they can’t use any of the other 12 or so copy machines they have in the copy center, but OK, I’ll wait). So, by this time, a third Copy Center employee arrives, another young lady. She goes to the employee attempting to laminate my paper, and gives her a very tender and loving hug.(I thought this was slightly out of place, and odd… but think to myself, it’s probably just me). So, finally, I get my third laminate attempt handed to me, and voila(yes, it doesn’t look as good as the original, BUT… no hair, and it’s legible. I think we got a winner). But, you’re going to have to wait, said the young lady, because I need that computer there to ring you up(pointing at the supervisor’s computer, which she’s using to try to still help the first customer who was there when I arrived). Meanwhile, the supervisor is explaining to this customer, that the computer isn’t working right… and showing her where it’s not giving her the proper screen. So finally, computer gets free’d up, and my personal Staples Representative comes over to ring me up. So while she’s doing so, the third Copy Center employee who had given her a hug, comes over and… and, eh… how shall I put this? She stands right behind the girl ringing me up(I mean, if it was a man, she would’ve known if she was happy to see her, and there would’ve been a sexual harassment lawsuit for SURE!). She then proceeds to «sniff» the other girl behind the ear, and says, «You smell SO good!» So, I’m standing there, just about ready to toss my $ 20 bill on the counter, and leave(I must’ve stepped into a twilight zone episode or something, where am I???). So, they continue to exchange pleasantries for a while, and I try my best to smile away, waiting for them to ask for some privacy. Then, my personal Staples Representative asks her Supervisor if they changed the price of the laminates, because the computer is ringing up $ 1.50. So, they go back-and-forth for a while, and despite the Supervisor telling her the price hadn’t changed, she turns to me and simply apologizes for misinforming me, and that I owed $ 1.50(which I was glad to pay at this point because I really just want to leave and get back to my planet). So she walks me over to another area of the counter, where she has printed an invoice. Meanwhile, her intimate friend looks at me, and gives me a very strange and menacing smile, and sticks her tongue out at me and places her two thumbs in her ear, and does the«little kid’s hand wiggles»(you know, like ha ha, nanny nanny boo boo). I laugh uncomfortably, and she does it again, and says something like, «I’m not supposed to do this to customers».(GENIUS!). That’s it, that’s all I’ve got to my Staples story. I left, snickered… and was left wondering(How is this a Fortune 500 company? Where do they find these people? What requirements to work, are there in this place? Is this what I should expect my kids to act like at a job held? Was I drugged? Where they Aliens from Extant?)

It’s staples. What can I say? It’s the closest place for me to get ink.

Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location. It gets very crazy during back to school but otherwise it’s usually pretty empty. They will shred 5 pounds of paper for you for free. Every additional pound is $ 0.79.

I think it is virtually impossible to find a ‘chain store” with better service than Staples… At least this particular one. A lovely salesperson by the name of Shirley basically escorted me all over the store and quickly helped me find what I needed. Kudos to you Staples. Thanks for the great service.

There are times when you have to work on a Saturday(and /or Sunday) and your regular blueprinter is closed. Drawings still need to go out, so you have to find new resources. That’s where this location came in. It’s a 5 minute drive from my office and right next to the 826 on ramp so that I may get to the FedEx location on time. The store layout is pretty much generic staples. The structure is industrial glam with the exposed metal framing painted white. I have bought electronics at this location and they seem to have a decent selection. However, the bulk of my review is for the printing department. Service was prompt and friendly. The clerk on duty Saturday(Elisha) was an architecture student and knew what a full size scan of an E size sheet and bond plot from a PDF file meant without too much elaboration on my behalf. I was able to email said documents and have them printed within 3 hours, with good print quality; likewise for the scanning. Alas, it is for the scanning where I have to dock a star since they only have black & white scanning for architectural size prints. I needed color scanning and they currently don’t have that equipment. Still and all, I plan to continue using this location for last minute weekend deadlines.
