The sandwiches here are cheap and good. I recently had the Omelet Sandwich ($ 3) and a Pan Con Bistec ($ 5). The omelet sandwich consists of egg, ham, green pepper, onion, and tomato. The bread is toasted and it’s a big sandwich for a little price. The pan con bistec is also very good and is topped with french fries. And for $ 5 you’ll be good until dinner.
Aside from the lunch counter, you’ll also find every day dry goods for sale here. Much like a 7 – 11, but with much better food. The cashiers are super friendly but not too keen on English. Thankfully, my 3 years of high school Spanish kicked into high gear and I was able to order and converse without incident.
