Taco Rico

I was in the area and decided to stop by and check this place out since my husband and I were hungry and he loves Mexican food.
I was in a hurry so ordered take out. Food was ready in 10 mins which worked out great because I was worried I wouldn’t make it on time to my next destination. It was plenty of time to take a sample of each and every one of their salsas on display.
We had the following:
–Chicken quesadilla= good but it was only chicken and cheese with a side of sour cream. It needed a bit of something else but I still devoured it.
–Taco Platter= went with the beef and it was tasty. Came with a side of yellow rice and beans.
–Jalapeño Poppers= love! I usually eat these with ranch but they didn’t have any so I dipped them in some sour cream.
My complaint for today is that they charged me regular prices and not the lunch specials prices. Ended up paying a bit more $ for probably less food.

I eat here occasionally when im craving mexican. Everything is good but i love their chicken taquitos and their quesadillas. Their queso is also good. The staff is super friendly. I like their salsa bar because it tastes fresh. I usually take the spicy salsa to go with the left over chips and food.

My friend ordered the Taco Salad that was generous in portions and tasty. I had the Super Chicken Burrito, which is huge enough to keep anyone happy. We added horchatas. If you’ve never tried one, you must. Absolutely, authentic and a sweet way to top off an overall good meal! We will definitely be ordering again!

Muy buena comida mexicana, muy buenos precios. Como por lo menos 3 veces a la semana en este lugar. La atencion del personal es muy buena. Tienen que comer las fajitas de pollo muy buenas. De igual manera tiene unos burritos gigantes que estan muy buenos. Todo esto lo puedes acompanar de una buena cerveza fria. 100% recomendado

It’s good spot since there’s no Mexican around in the area. But nothing out of this world. Ordered delivery once and I think they gave me a free burrito or they confused my order. Regardless I was content. Delivery came quick. Never seen the store inside but the burrito was good.

I can only speak for the food from my experience with delivery. Yuck is the verdict. We ordered several options, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and some other blah-​ness I cannot even remember. The best item was the damn cheese quesadilla (who can mess that up though?). Soggy as hell, not flavorful whatsoever, sort of greasy — in a weird greasy way, not the good type, sloppy ass presentation where it was just thrown in a to-​go «give me your money box» and overall not worth the stomachache after. Will never order again unless I somehow develop a case of amnesia from this disaster.

I can’t believe the good reviews for this place. The worst Mexican food I have had EVER. The quality of the meat, taco shells, rice, beans, everything was very poor. Not just inexpensive but CHEAP.
Chipotle is way better. I know I’m spoiled eating lots of fresh, organic food at home, but by far the worst beef tacos in my 30 years of eating Mexican-​American food. Bland meat, taco shells falling apart within a couple of minutes of sitting down, flavorless rice and beans, brownish iceberg lettuce, cheap cheese. As a teenager I worked in a now out of business taco chain that slayed this place. I would never go back.

This is only pertaining to my delivery experience. I would not hesitate to stop by and dine in at this location. Once in a blue moon I’ll order delivery from here. All too often it arrives late, cold, and falling apart. I understand that tacos don’t hold up well for a long period of time, so why not vent the container to let out the steam, or make less stops per delivery so the food is better heated. It just seems like less and less attention to the quality is being given. Regardless, the food is good, albeit cold and only able to be eaten with a fork and a knife. The flutas as always a good choice because due to the fact that they are not filled with moist ingredients like the soft and hard tacos, they at least hold their shape and still have good flavor.

I looked at their menu online and decided to give them a shot. I went in and ordered take out. They have their menu on a chalk board on the wall. I like that they have many options, so it took me a while to figure out what I wanted.
I ordered a taco salad and I got 3 chicken tacos for my bf. As I waited, Roshelle the cashier, gave me chips to munch on as I wait. They have bar with different sauces, so you can get a refill as much as you please. I liked their Pico de gallo, it was very fresh. I actually took some home.
My food was ready within 5 – 7 min. It was very fast. And I didn’t mind the wait. They have a T. V inside and they were playing the heat game so I was entertained.
My bf and I devoured our food as soon as I got home. My taco salad was filled with chicken, guacamole, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. It was so much food, I couldn’t finish it. I’m glad that I ordered that because it is a healthy option and it got me full.
The service was great. Roshelle, the cashier/​server was excellent. She was in a great mood and was very friendly.
The parking is not a hassle because this place is located in a shopping center, where there is plenty of parking available.
I am definetly a fan of this place. The food is great and so is the service!

I love this place. I order here at least once a week. They have great specials, the food is fresh and the best part the delivery is always on time. They are never late. Love them!!!

The food took a lot to be ready it seams that they were given priority to take out anyway when it arrived it was by parts so I have to go to the cashier and ask for the meat
Also is an expensive for the quality and simplicity of the food that they serve

Delicious! I love this food. Their chili con queso is a delicious appetizer. We order it everytime we go. They offer soft drinks, jarritos, beer, and passion fruit tea to drink. They also have a variety if options to chose from as your entrée. I really love their quesadillas! If you prefer whole wheat tortillas they have those as well. I would recommend this place to friends.

You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The food is fresh and delicious. Not to mention the prices are extremely reasonable. The staff is laid back and courteous. I love coming here when I want something tasty and quick.

New lunch spot! I was in the mood to try a new spot today, so I Unilocaled restaurants on Bird road and Taco Rico popped up.
I ordered the loaded taco platter, and it did not disappoint. I placed the order online & when I arrived 10 minutes later it was ready!

Great spot for tacos Monday’s in the Neighborhood… Food is awesome great, service is always fast… Best bang for your buck and they deliver.

3 stars only because the tacos were soggy by the time they arrived — although the flavor was delicious. The rice was good & the beans as well.
The guac was way too spicy for me but anyone else would love it.
I also think ordering through the app is awesome!!!

Best mexican food in Westchester, the platters are no joke, chimichanga and quesadilla are my favorites, great lunch menu, there chips and salsa are awsome. Rice and refried beans are delish. Nothing dissapoints me there. Recommend it.

The fajitas are unlike any other & the fish tacos are delicious as well. Only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because they don’t have a selection of margaritas, mostly just beers. Their food is all around great & fresh, & their salsas are full of flavor.

i love this place, nothing fancy like everyone is trying to be these days… just str8 up Tex Mex style Mexican food. I’ve been here like 3 times in the past month.
The portions are big and at a very affordable price, and nothing really like it in the area so that’s a plus. Enjoy!

It is hard to find a quality Mexican restaurant, but make no mistake, Taco Rico is a well establishment that provides the best experience in town. Their staff is fully qualify to suggest and satisfy any palate.
I am a Mexican food aficionado, and guarantee you that this is the place to fulfill your needs regarding THE BEST Mexican meals in Miami, it seems as homemade food at a very good prices.
