So I found this place in Unilocal!If I could put no stars I would. I came here because I had a trade show at the doubletree and was the closest thing. The lady that did my nails not only pinched me like 5 time but talked to me about gel like she’s the queen of applying it. I get gel every two weeks and from the start told her she was doing everything wrong. She over applied too much gel nail polish on my nails that it looked like a lump of paint on my nails. I still have her tip paid my tab for manicure and left. Got my nails done Wednesday and by Monday they were like this picture a disaster! Worst money ever spend! Also a shady and nasty place. I should have know when I saw a lady come in complaining about the same issue I have. My only issue is I don’t live no where near here and don’t plan on ever going back!

As far as cleanliness, price and quality– I have yet to find a better place.
I am ANAL about nails, my best-​friend worked in her mom’s asian nail salon since birth and I worked in a Coral Gables salon so I know what to look for. I will be clear if you go with Nick or Ana (owners and also Vietnamese) you will get that fabulous Asian style nail where they don’t even slip on the edges with paint, just perfect precision. They both lay an acrylic nail that is unreal! But if you go to any one else, you will get the most comprehensive and satisfying mani/​pedi ever! The rest of the girls mostly speak Spanish so yes this is very much a «locals only“and I will be clear there is NO RECEPTIONIST and NO APPOINTMENTS… I’ve been going here for about 3 years and the reason they don’t do appointments is because they found themselves waiting around for an appointment that would be late or never come so they just cut it out. It’s a really small salon, very simple and toned down interior, it’s not stylish, you come here for the reliability and the fact you can still afford lunch after a killer mani/​pedi.

My manicurist took 2 ½ hours to do a simple manicure and a pedicure. I really didn’t have much time, so during my manicure I asked her to only push my cuticles back, not clip them to save time. I have a feeling if she did Clip my cuticles I would have been there for 3 hours or more. this might have been my first time falling asleep about 17 times in the pedicure chair… Never again going back there. She looked like she had difficulty filing my nails and they seem a bit uneven. The only thing that came out nice was the paint job, after 20 min of turtle pace painting and cleaning edges.

I came to this nail salon thanks to Unilocal.The place is not a pretty place, but the girls here are super meticulous and detailed oriented! I received one of the best pedicures ever! Highly recommended to speak Spanish if you are coming here.

This is the best nail salon in town. All the girls do AMAZING jobs. They leave your nails and cuticles so good it will last more than a week or so and still look on point. I never fail to go to them!

Always come here for my mani/​pedis I’ve been a customer for about 2 years and they do great work! I always sit with Nick or Ana (the owners) and the rest of the staff is also friendly. The Gel manicures last me 2 weeks or more and the pedicures last me about a month. They are open everyday of the week till 7pm and Also the prices are cheap! $ 20 for Gel manicure!

Great place to get your nails done. Plenty of colors to choose from, friendly staff and clean work stations. It would get a five star but the place is in need of a facelift. Try Nick or Ana :)
And the gel polish actually last for 2 weeks or more!
