Tart & Berry Frozen Yogurt

Improper service and treatment to a customer. Disrespectfully threw packaged food on the floor after the service was not done correctly. On November 8, 2013 11:50am I called restaurant «Tart & Berry» for delivery about their lunch menu. At the time of my call I was at work which is approximately couple buildings away from the restaurant. I called to place two separate orders one for my co-​worker and for myself, gave proper credit card information for both orders. About, 40 – 45 mins have gone by where the food arrives and there’s only one order completed. My credit card was charged and was given the wrong order. I call restaurant and ask for manager where I speak to lidia the owner. I spoke to her about what has happened and she insures me it was her mistake when she placed order and will refund money in cash and will give me the food. I tell her refund will be fine but the food will not be necessary. We agreed and I was waiting on her employee to return. Tart & Berry employee returned now with an extra employee. From the beginning the both employee were extremely rude were I had to tell them to step outside the hall way because I was in a work environment. One of the employee who claims the manager is his mother argues with me about the time my food was delivered, which was not the biggest issue here. The other employee returns my money on cash rudely states that will be the last time they will deliver to us. I responded after the service I received believe me it will. They try to hand over the packaged food and I refuse the food. The son of the owner takes the food from the other employee and says «no your going to take the food» and throws it to the floor towards my feet and starts to argue and threaten us. I had a co-​worker witness and demands his name and calls the restaurant. We tell the owner how improper the service was for that restaurant and we will be report this matter.
*Since new owners the service is horrendous.

Only 3 stars because of how dirty it was when we walked inside. It looked like a child had gotten the Oreo tray and just threw it on the floor, along with a mixture of peanuts and crackers. All you heard was crackling under your shoes, and there was no employee making any attempt to clean. I noticed they sold food but we didn’t buy any because we were in such a rush to leave since the music playing was so loud we couldn’t hear anything. The yogurt flavors were good but I don’t think I’ll be coming here any more.

Best frozen yogurt. If you like coconut, this place has the best flavor. All the other flavors are great as well.

Hidden Gem!
I «discovered» this tasty gem when I was leaving Pier 1 Imports the other morning and came back today to try them out. I only eat sugar free and most other yogurt shops only offer one flavor; this store has THREE! The pistachio was out of this world!
The price seemed very reasonable as I usually buy about half the amount at other yogurt stores for about the same price; I wish I had noticed how much they charge per ounce.
Service was wonderful with a very warm owner actually making conversation… in MIAMI people!
Make sure you check this place out after the movies or a vigorous workout!

My daughter and I watched this place being built and anticipated their opening for weeks. Once it opened we were regulars. Our first visit was so impressive we had no choice. The owners are sweet and very friendly, the décor is creative, bright, and cheery and the variety of flavors and toppings can’t be beat. I am frequently on a diet, and they always have a new flavor (or two or three!!) of sugar free, extremely low cal yougurt. One was 32 calories per serving… I had about 150 calories worth and was thrilled! This place has my undying grattitude for existing — I would never have managed to maintain my new low weight without my «fix» of low-​cal desert from Tart & Berry!!!

Nothing tops some Kendall village shopping like a big fruity cup of refreshing yogurt. Located just to the side of On The Border, Tart&Berry is as yummy as it is cute. Happy pink and green high tops and lamps greet you as you decide your flavor of the week.
Try the strawberry – it’s one of the best! This place also offers gourmet salads and smoothies so there’s healthy options to satisfy your tummy and sweet tooth. Major plus that it’s family owned and the owner is a total sweetheart – how appropriate! :)

Good for quick bite after a movie but the yogurt itself is alright. I have had better. Toppings do not have a lot of variety nor is their fruit any good

FABULOFANTASTIC!
Beautiful place, fantastic people, wonderful service, and best of all the superb delicious yoghurts, the flavor ‘bubbles’ are by far my favorite topping. The variety and quality are beyond words.
To add to this delightful paradise of yoghurt and yummy toppings, they also serve wraps, paninis and salads, and although their variety is not as large as the yoghurts, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is delicious.
A perfect place to spend afternoons and weekends with children. Ideal of a lunch break, a snack or when one wants something delicious, fun and healthy.
It is a little hidden, and one does have to walk to the side of the main stores to find it. Just glad I found it.
Highly recommend it, try no doubt you will love it!

The flavors are quite interesting, on my visit they have gooey cinnamon bun (a bit light on the cinnamon flavor but the gooeyness is spot on!), white chocolate almond, german chocolate (with a nice hint of coconut), and more. Not the same old plain flavors you usually see. So five stars for the flavors.
But there seems to be problem w the dispensers. Not sure if they get the equipment second handed or what, but the feel of some pumps is weird, some get stuck and won’t stop, so I end up w yogurt all over my hand when I want a sample, or get more in my cup than I intend (which may be why they didn’t fix the pumps).
They have a nice variety of toppings, but I find the set up a bit awkward. They put the lid over each bin and the spoon on top of the lid. Good intention in keeping the toppings clean and not co-​mingled. However, to fill my cup, I have to put it down to free up a hand to lift the lid, and the lids do get dirty from the spoons that have some toppings stuck on them… so all in all it not an ideal set up.
The place is really pretty, cute pink and green scheme of deco, and compare to other local froyo place they did spend money to make it look nice and comparable to the chains. I’d love to give them more business, but I hope they will fix the dispensers.

this cool little place is actually sort of hidden between chuck e cheese and south of the border but it is quite nice and the staff are generally festive… it is a self serve inc toppings type fro-​yo establishment and the flavors and topping selections are both pretty good… make sure to check in and get yourself a 10% off deal/​offer! enjoy! =)
only problem here is the parking! it is the pits! NOTICE to the mall/​plaza owners: need to construct a multi-​level garage folks!!!

Awsome family feeling when you enter this place. My daughter and I visit this place frequently and we love it. We come after the movies. Good for dieters too. Low calories treats. Very pretty décor. The paninis are great! Free Wi-​FI. The best service. Wish them all the best!

My husband and I are huge fans of Frozen Yogurt shops. We always check out different places, and Yougen Fruz was our favorite… UNITL NOW! Tart Berry has officially stolen our hearts!
I actually ran into this place by accident while going to Pier One Imports. I saw it on my way in, and when heading back to my car, I couldn’t resist. The layout and décor is adorable and they have soooo many flavors to choose from. I’m not one to Unilocal!about everything, but this place deserves one!
They have over 20 different topping (yes, including crushed kit-​kats, mangos, etc.) and the service is EXCELLENT!!! Most frozen yogurt places do not sell food, which is what I believe stole our hearts, lol. They have wraps, salads & paninis. Not to mention they have frozen yogurt in little tubs available to-​go.
There is nothing negative to say about this place, which is why they deserve 5 stars. The only advise I would give is to advertise more on the street corner of Kendall Drive, because I definitely didn’t know this place existed, and I feel everyone should know they’re hidden back there.

So if you know about the frozen yogurt/​topping bar trend, then you already know what Tart & Berry is all about. The yogurt flavors are good, particularly the strawberry. They had some interesting ones as well, including chocolate mint.
The topping bar is fairly extensive, though not as extensive as some others I’ve seen. What is highly unique is their «bubbles» on the toppings bar; tiny, little fruit juice filled bubbles that you can add to your yogurt. I tried the lychee ones and I loved them! I would definitely come back to try more of these toppings out on my yogurt.
This location is a little hard to find. It’s behind Chuck E. Cheese. In the back back, where you wouldn’t expect to find anything. Keep looking, because it’s worth it to give it a try.

A friend of mine, who happens to know the owners, mentioned they were opening the store and they were from Jersey, soooooooo I had to check it out. Great, great frozen yogurt and toppings. My daughter and I love the self-​serve FY and used to go to a local one in TX all the time and I have to say this is just as good, if not better. The store is super clean and the ladies are really, really nice!!! Give it a try, your tummy will say, thank you!

I stumbled across this new restaurant at Kendall village center just west of Kendall drive and the Florida Turnpike. I really enjoyed their product and the cleanliness of the space. The space is a little hidden so they will have to certainly market it although that center is pretty busy most of the time. I look forward to going back and bringing some friends next time.
