U.S. Post Office

My items that were suppose to arrive at my house were lost and I’ve tried talking to employees and manager and all they do is give me the run around. How would they not know were my items are??? On the day tracking confirmed the items arrived at my house, I checked with my neighbors camera and there were no USPS delivered. They need to do a background check on their carriers to see if they are fitted properly to do the job!!!

This location and the employees who work here deserve 5 stars. Always friendly and the location is great.

I have been there to ship many products, and you always have to wait in line for more than 15 minutes and you can hear the phones ringing and nobody answers them. The customer service isn’t good, what makes you feel they don’t care much about your problems

The sweetest kindest postal employees ever! Note though that the stamp machine is not dispensing stamps right now.

I live this post office. The staff is friendly and efficient. They are helpful. It’s a pleasure going here! Highly recommend!

Very attentive service. There will be a line it’s the post office after all, but he staff makes it seem shorter than it is. This is my goto location. Brickell has zero parking and Shenandoah is horrible.

This is the closest location to me house, so I always go there.
The staff is very friendly. Only once have I had an attendant that was very snappy.
If there is a line, it can end up being a long wait, even if there are only a few people ahead of you. Sometimes a manager will come out and help with that.
I enjoy that this location is always well stocked with stamps.

I lived in the Grove for 18 years. The local post office has never changed. No matter how, it is always a twenty-​minute affair (minimum) to do anything. The employees are often moody and they seem work in slow motion despite the fact that there is a line there of busy people like you and me. I don’t look forward to go there and try to avoid it for the most part.

I hate the automated machine, it sucks and they always try to push it on you. Most of the time they have to have a staff member working the machine, it would be better if they just had that guy work the counter. The staff are moody some times but if you are nice to them you get treated nicely. I understand why because I often see customers treating the staff like crap. Be respectful.

I came here on a Saturday morning to buy stamps (after being told no, or we’ve run out, or we don’t have enough at several other post offices elsewhere). There was a short line, but the postal workers were quick and efficient, and there was almost no wait. Once we got to the counter, the woman was friendly, smiling, and super helpful (how refreshing!). It was overall a very very good post-​office experience!

I want this Post Office to improve, but my experience over 12 years have been completely mixed. Lines are typically long — but at odd times can be short. My mail had been miss delivered, not delivered, sent back… need I go on. I totally support the US Postal Service, as it’s something we need as a fully functioning nation. But, this location has let me down so many times, I have given up. I have complained and brought my concerns with the manager (and managers over the years), but not much changes. I know there are people working hard there, but I am not convinced there is something wrong at this location and operation on whole:
Experiences:
1) miss delivered mail
2) mail damaged while placed in mailbox (ripped, shredded, etc.)
3) packages not delivered and notices not given to recipient
4) packages that are held at location are lost/​sent back to sender
5) unprofessional attitude by management staff
6) long lines, and no reaction by management to ease congestion/​wait time
7) supplies missing, not in stock, and limited stamps at times
As the saying goes, this the only business that can raise rates and still have poor performance. I support increases in stamp rates, and I want to the US Postal System to operate efficiently, and without a deficit, not in the «red». But, with this level of simply poor customer service — it’s no wonder why post is becoming something out of fashion (and many transfer of info and funds are conducted online).
I hope your experience is better than mine over the years… and I hope they start taking citizens’ concerns to heart.

I went after work around 4:30 on a Wednesday and there was no line. I had a good experience here. Das it!

Sometimes I love this location … sometimes I despise it. It seems to be luck of the draw here. They have a few efficient, friendly employees who keep things running smoothly, and others who seem content to collect their government paychecks and watch the line grow ever-​longer.
I’ve found lunchtime to be the best time of day to avoid ridiculous wait times. Early mornings are a no go.
All in all, an ok branch, but really, I can’t quite wrap my head around the lack of overall efficiency and convenience of the US postal service in general.

Yes, five stars for a post office Not only do i grade on a curve but my future father-​in-​law is a postal worker and you don’t want to make those people angry This post office is always busy but efficient, the line never gets to long Stamps are up to 44 cents and going up because they are losing money every year and unlike most government agencies they are supposed to be self-​sustaining I’m old school so I still like to send people hand-​written letters every once in a while Do it one of these days and see the reaction you get, it’s a lost art

I hope I don’t ruin this but other than on Thursday and Friday from 6pm to 2am and Saturday from 4:30pm to 2am, the parking here is FREE
during those hours, it’s just a buck an hour
You want to go to the ‘Cuda on a Wednesday night to watch the Heat destroy the Knicks = free parking
Sunday brunch at Green Street = free parking
Tuesday Night White Trash Bash at Sand Bar = free parking
watching George beat up on Brett at Peacock park basketball court = free parking and good laughs at Brett’s expense
