Uni K Wax Center

So, I made another appt by phone for 3:30pm for Viviana. When I showed up they told me she wouldn’t be ready for me until 4:10pm. The 3pm client was still waiting to be served. The woman behind the desk was not apologetic just very matter of fact. I do not know what has happened to this business– they used to be so efficient and polite. This place no longer cares about their customers and giving good customer service.

The Best Wax in Miramar, very nice people, amazing service and excellent green wax soft, warm and elastic I love it. The store smell good and I can not believe no painless.

They do an OK job, reviews are correct the receptionist is not at all pleasant or welcoming, brings down the overall experience. They hand out discounts, first customer, booking on line etc so that’s the only reason I’d return, not because of the service or welcome I received.

This is one of my favorite UniK wax locations. It’s clean, making appts is easy, and staff is amazing. You can’t go wrong with any of them. Also, I’ve noticed that it’s easier to get in without an appointment; you might have to wait a little, but there’s that convenience.

Well I gave them 5 stars before. Now 1. Why you ask? Because izmary is gone. She was the best. My first time waxing a certain area was with her. She was so professional and made it pain free. Literally! Now she’s gone!!! I haven’t been back since and am heartbroken she’s gone. IZMARY COME BACK PLEASE!!!

I went to get my first Brazilian today, and had heard very good things about Uni K. As soon as I walked it I was greeted, and the reception area was pretty and very clean. I was taken to a little room right away by Laura, who preformed my service. Laura did a fantastic job– she was quick, it was not very painful at all for the first time, and she made me feel very comfortable. At the end of the service, they apply a little disposable cold pack to calm the redness, and apply a gel. It looks great– if you go here, ask for Laura! I myself am going to be a regular. They also have a nice rewards program.

Okay… as I’ve said before once you find your great esthetician Keep her ! Tip her! Always book her! As some are better than others. I am a loyal customer, to this particular location, the staff is friendly and of course my esthetician is AMAZING! Well, I called to ask a question, and now I’m debating rather to stay or leave? Izamary is no longer there. The receptionist that I spoke with just wanted, I felt to throw me off on another esthetician. I haven’t booked with anyone new as of yet.

I came in for the first time today to get a lip and brow wax. As soon as I got there, I was greeted by the friendly staff and awaited Thais the esthetician. She was very kind and gentle. Before she groomed my very thick eyebrows, she pinpointed where she would take from and where my patches were. I’ve never had someone offer me a disposable ice bag to cool the burn from the wax, that was really nice. I felt like she really took her time and promoted the company by pointing out the quality of the all-​natural wax they use.
I will definitely be returning & my brows look awesome. thanks Thais!

There wax is absolutely amazing. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I think the service by the technician could be improved.

This is by far the best waxing salon I have been to. I’ve had two different people here and both were very professional, personable and most importantly quick! Your first visit you get a discount making it very inexpensive and the next visits are reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend!!!

I love Uni K! Cleanliness is a huge deal to me and boy is this place spotless. Staff is nice. Best wax I’ve ever had was with Viviana. She has magic hands and helps minimize any pain. The prices are reasonable and they even have a teen club.

I have been coming here for a few years. they r very professional, clean and very friendly business. they do a lot of waxing varieties and their prices are not overpriced but appropriate. I always prefer having the same person service me each time which is never a problem. I highly recommend this place. they are allover town which is convenient and r open 7 days a week. Thank u

They have an amazing staff and their wax is the best I’ve ever come in contact with. Maira is the woman who I will rave about, but I have tried others in last minute situations, but Maira by far is the the best! I love it!

Once again, Lina took care of me. We talked about English and Spanish in America. I had fun. She took care of my eyebrows and bikini line.

Best body waxing in town! You have packages or a la carte. Using the best European wax. Lena did a great job and goes into details very professionally. I did a lot of different places for full body waxing and had always some hair left but here at Uni k wax NMB nothing left. Recommended.

I really like this wax salon. The staff is very friendly and professional. When I arrive to my appointment, I never have to wait past a minute for the technician to be ready. The technicians are gentle and make sure to make your waxing experience a pleasant and relaxing one. I’ve gotten services done by two different technicians and I liked them both. However, I decided to stay with the original one because I felt the most comfortable with her.
The wax they use is great. It doesn’t leave any irritation and does a good job at removing hair. The best part is their rewards program! Accumulate points that work towards the payment of your services! That to me in itself won me over.
If you’re looking for a new wax salon, this is definitely the one you want to go to!

So normally I go to the Uni K in Kendall Town & Country but I couldn’t bother driving way down there and came here. First of all the receptionists were loud and eating chicken. I thought that was unprofessional. So the lady I got behaved like she had never done a full bikini wax before. Huge turn off! Her wax didn’t hurt me at all but my hair grew back quicker than normal. I won’t return.

I’ve been going to this particular uni.k.wax for about 3 years now. I had never waxed until I went here. I first started out doing only my underarms but last year I took the plunge and starting getting a full bikini as well. A full bikini is when they remove all the hair «down there». The first time you get anything waxed it is painful but the more you do it the less it hurts and the less often you have to get waxed. Over time your hair becomes softer and finer so it doesn’t grow back as quickly and it is easier to remove when you do get waxed again. Also, you rarely get ingrown hairs and bumps.
At uni.k.wax they do not use waxing strips. They just use a green wax, which they apply with a wooden spatula, and they let the wax cool and then they remove it. Each time I have gone they have used a new spatula and a fresh batch of wax which is muy importante. The salon itelf is extremely clean and the receptionists are always friendly and helpful. They also have a points reward system where for every dollar you spend you earn 1,000 points which equate to dollars off a service. They also give you a discount during your birthday month and they offer online booking.

I can’t really complain about the price, as I always got my body waxed here for free by allowing students test on me. I would get my bikini, legs, and underarms done here. I worked 2 floors below this office so I would come here in my lunch hour.
The office is clean and professional. And the staff are super friendly! When you had a team of 3 students testing you while lying in my underwear, the professionals instructing them made me feel super comfortable!
When the instructors were showing the students how to rip hair from my legs… I had no pain. So I would have no problem paying them. However the students… now and again I had to crunge. But it was free and couldn’t complain!
