Vicecity Barbershop

I came here maybe a week or so ago and upon first impression the place needs some love and consistency in visual maintenance a little bit of a dated look. The hair cut was nice and clean but I had also done some research on Unilocal before even coming and most were stating around $ 20 which with tip in Miami is average, but to my surprise the «president» cut my hair and was really nice and took his time but then charged me $ 25! Now I know what you’re thinking it is only $ 5 however I felt cheated and to an extent robbed because that is very pricey for Miami or anywhere for that matter! I just felt that for a first time customer it left a bit of a sour note in my mouth. I go to hair cut places in the gables that charge around this and way nicer venue. I don’t know yes the hair cut went well came out decent and yes the guy was nice but that price is steep for what they’re offering. I will leave it in your hands to venture here but remember cash only or you get hit with the ATM fee

This place is a joke. More than a 2 hour wait on a Tuesday night. Takes them around a full hour to shave a head.
Then to top it off, my friend came here a week earlier and said the cuts were $ 15, but the guy who cut me says they’re $ 20. Scam.

Came in at 2:40 pm on a Sunday. Hours say they’re open until 4. The barber (we’ll call him Cee-​lo Green) told me «bro, we’re done for today». oh well, lost a customer. Wonder what else they lie about on their website.

5 stars for the cool dudes at Vicecity. They took me in with no appointment, just $ 15 for a clean cut. I was visiting from Los Angeles over Labor Day weekend, and I walked out a satisfied customer, looking Miami style. These guys really take the time to work on sideburns, edges, back of our neck. Highly recommend Vicecity, you can watch some good shows on the flatscreen while you’re waiting for your turn.

Nice spot. Very skilled barbers. Fun and courteous environment. Would give 5 stars but the place is a little dirty. Overall a very good hair cut and experience.

I’d give this spot more stars if it were possible! I took my youngest nephew for his first barbershop experience here and It was amazing! I know. How exciting can a haircut be? But it was! And by far, it was more than just the cut!
The owner went over and above the necessary means to accommodate us & that is what running a business is about! Tailoring your service to the needs of your customers.

Great place. I was referred by a friend and these guys have always given me a great cut. I send all my friends there. They take there time, ETSY the barber with tattoos all over is cool and good customer service. Highly reccomended

First time walk in. Came in for the reviews and left with a great haircut by Steve. Definitely will be back.

Back in Miami after being gone for over 10 years and first thing I needed was a fresh cut and I found this great spot! They took care of me and it’s great atmosphere. If I can make my way back to south Florida I will absolutely be coming back. Thank you all very much!

I made an appointment specifically at 1 pm during my lunch time. I arrived at 1230 only to discover that the barber had already taken someone else. So my 1 pm appointment was pushed back. At the end I had to walk out. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

Great barber shop and nice customer service. They missed my call and called me back immediately. Right there I knew this was the place to go. Walked in around 6:20pm got taken care of and Bori gave my son the perfect haircut even tho they close @ 7pm. Best shop in town, definitely the spot. My boy is «slaying with the ladies» couldn’t be happier. Thank you Bori!

Got a haircut here today. These guys aren’t barbers. They are craftsmen and giving you the best possible haircut is their craft. Been a regular for a while but moved for a while and couldn’t come by. This haircut reminded me what made me a loyal customer for the years I was privileged to come here. They are very observant and listen to what style you want but also help steer you in the right direction for your facial structure. Let’s be honest, not every one looks like Ryan gosling or brad Pitt but they can make you feel like a million bucks.
I highly recommend them. Any of their barbers. And I also recommend making an appointment because they do get busy. That’s also expected when you are dealing with good craftsmen.

Friday afternoon walked in & waited. As the 2 male barber hair stylist we’re working on other people they never even acknowledged me.
As I was sitting waiting oyher guys walked in & they were recognized instantly. They were asked yo wait they would be next.
Obviously, this place is handled by unprofessional idiots. There is favoritism based under little clique of friends and they don’t care about losing clientele.
I do not recommend & I will never go back.

The bad reviews about this place are 100% accurate.
Perhaps the barbers are good and their cuts on point. But the costumer service is subpar. I waited for almost an hour and watched 2 guys walk in and sit down before I did. This place is for those who know someone inside.
Had I waited, I’d probably would have set there and watch person after person walk in and get taken care of before me.
Best of luck to them. However, my time was wasted and I will not return or recommend this business to anyone.

Frankly I am a out of towner I came here because it was close to my families house and it had great reviews. If this business was in Washington, D.C. It would not last more than a few months. The barbers friend get moved to the front of the line with no appointments and people who call ahead are lucky if they get in at the time they were scheduled. Forget about walk ins there is no order and no front of house management to make sure that people get seated! The owner seems to be stuck in the back and does not know what is going on.
In DC if you tell someone 20 minutes and you make them sit for 1 hour you will get nothing but walk outs! In fact I have watch at least 10 people just give up and walk out. What a waste!

Excellent shop with awesome employees. By far some of the most talented men I’ve had the pleasure to meet. My first haircut there and Mike, an employee took about a good 45 minutes to completely detail my hair and beard. Needless to say, it was a masterpiece. I believe in this small shop because it holds true to it’s values. I saw the original owner there Lazaro STILL CUTTING HAIR! It’s more than their job, it’s their profession, something they are truly proud of.

So I went in, having called the day before to make an appointment to my surprise that no one knew anything about my supposed appointment. No worries though because they weren’t that busy. Gene walked in and introduced himself to me and said he’d be glad to take me.
Gene asked some pretty detailed questions about what I wanted and went to work. I spent about an hour in the chair and I can tell you that I’ve never had more detailed cut in my life. Gene took his time to make sure he gave me the perfect cut. With Sunday afternoon football on the TV, being in the chair wasn’t that bad.
This place may not seem like the most professional but they sure cut hair professionally. I’ll be coming back. I can see this place being pretty busy and it might be best if you choose a barber and stick with him/​her.

Had trouble with another barber close to my place. Called ahed and they set me up with Fernando. Ask for him best barber I’ve ever had.
He gives me good advice on my hair and always wants to make sure I’m getting the cut I want. Reasonably priced and even a great atmosphere for a great barber shop. I’ve been a repeat customer for a long time, and will continue to be one. Keep up the great work!

Great men’s haircuts. These guys really take pride in their work. I left this place really happy with my haircut wondering why I haven’t checked it out sooner. It’s also a great value. I have payed twice as much for mediocre cuts. Ask for Sean.

My hubby has come here twice for a haircut and they’ve done an awesome job.
They just know what it takes for a good cut.
Period.
You won’t be disappointed.
