XFINITY Store by Comcast

I went in for something pretty simple, I just wanted to switch out my router for the better one. If you go to this place early it won’t be that busy. I think the horrible stories this place has makes people not go here so in which case it’s not that busy. When I tried to switch out the router for the better one, they didn’t really know what I was talking about, they thought I already had the latest one, but I was able to prove to them I didn’t. Luckily, this is free so listen. If you have an 802.11n router and you want to get the 802.11ac router, it won’t cost any money. Just bring your old router and they will give you the better one. Then, just plug it in and activate it and you’re good.

I have been on 7 different phone calls transferred to 3 to 4 different people each time.
I understand you personally don’t want to take a loss. But man or women the fuck up and take the loss. If one person could actually handle your problem. Instead I’m transferred to low life’s who don’t give a rats ass if they can help you or not. Find accuse not handle you after spending 15 to 20 minutes on the phone with you. To then processed to loss the call while transferring or just hang up.

All of you are the worse!!! And countless others I’ve spoken to at Exfinity/​Comcast. Next stop Better Business B!
My advise: don’t ever get involved with this business. Their lazy. Their call centers is all about making money. No customer Service At All.
I even had a man come out to my home! TELL me the cable for the pole to the house is no good. Proceeds to put a buster because my internet was fluctuating in and out. It don’t work in the morning and worked in the evening.
Told me this will work! And of course it didn’t! In the mornings.. Their all idiots. And wanted to charge me $ 50.00 to come out.

Save yourself the headache and pain and DO NOT use Comcast. If you’re in Brickell, invest in another service provider. Each phone call is a painful 18 minute wait, followed by incompetent Customer Service Reps that will toy you around and throw you back on hold to different departments because NO ONE knows how to help you. Also, unless you get upgraded– you will have internet that continuously crashes. For anyone that works from home– you are pretty much forced into getting a business account. Good luck, Comcast.

Mailing I recd this week said hrs were 10am-​8pm Sun 11 – 4. Got there @ 730 tonite. Staff in store, walked away frm door when they saw me come up. Door locked. Door says hours 10 – 7 Mon –Sat closed Sun. I shouldn’t have wasted the gas to get here.

Reading Most of the reviews about this place i pictured walking into a disaster! But it was everything but that. I came in with bad equipment i needed changed out and some services i needed looked at. The moment i walked in i was greeted by someone at the door an older man. Asked me how he could help me I explained what i needed he handed me a ticket and I sat. The location was pretty full but everyone was being called rather quickly. I sat for maybe 10 – 15 min and was called. The young lady helped me get new equipment but needed help from her supervisor for the service issue. She called and Alexis came and within a min or two done. He thanked me for being with xfinity as a service provider.
The store is really nice almost looks like a concept store. They have these pretty cool tablets around the store to kinda look through the service they have and what not. Over all I really enjoyed my interactions with every person the I came in contact with.

It’s a shame I can’t give 0 stars because they truly deserve it. I’ve been trying to get my service connected for almost a month and I still I’m met with the same indifference that «customer service» give you. Rude people who are bothered by your problems and the reality that this company doesn’t know what communication means. I’m fed up with trying with com-​crap and I’m going to Direct.

Comcast is much cheaper than AT&T, so they have the cheapest service! You can never solve your internet problems in Comcast! If you have money or high requirement about your internet, never choose Comcast! And if you already have Comcast, remember to check your bill every month and keep your receipt, because these people always give your extra bill!

This place is horrible, always giving you a problem, lines are super long. Get there two hours before they open because it’s always packed and busy and they don’t have enough employees. And on top of it Comcast service over all sucks !

Walked in and could hardly believe my eyes, this place is much much nicer than their Civic Center location. As soon as I walked in a representative asked how he might help and gave me a ticket. After only a 15-​minute wait (1 hour usual at Civic Center) they called my name and we were done shortly after. The cable boxes here are also much much nicer than the refurbished ones at other location. I think Comcast’s biggest drawback is their lack of offices and lack of proper customer service although I have been lucky and they seem to be doing better lately. Nevertheless, they could do a much much better job with customer service and why they get 2 stars.

Do you enjoy cupcakes, amazing enchiladas and the best scuba diving of your life? Imagine how happy you would be doing those things! Now, imagine the polar opposite and you’ll have a good idea how it feels like stepping into this service center.
2 months ago, we dropped U verse and took our condominium’s free cable offered by Comcast. Sounds wonderful right? Well, in the 2 months we had Comcast we had to have 3 different tech calls, entire days where one box wouldn’t work (it got swapped out), the DVR wouldn’t record, and if it did, it would not sync with the website’s «convenient DVR anywhere». Also, by the time charges and fees for multiple TVs were done, our free TV was $ 30 a month.
The Internet is great though, fast and reliable.
That being said, the actual store experience is brutal. At any given time, the wait is between 30 — 40 minutes. When I first got service, it took them 1.5 hours to set up my service due to being «confused by the codes» (??) and i was given a non functional DVR which I had to bring back to exchange, while waiting another 30 minutes.
The only saving grace to this entire store is an employee named Robert. He tried his best to help expedite the situation for me anytime I went into the store and was always cheerful and kind. He earned the one star for this store.
If you must stop at this location, bring a book and a snack.

The place is very small and has a longgggg wait (1 hour or longer) to just scan for your return. Someone will give you a ticket with your name and you will find out your options after you hear people complain. The Company had very poor customer service after the price quoted was wrong plus the tech that arrived had wrong order. The school program box is a good
Price but if you have service with a different provider like ATT you would not be able to use the house wiring. Price is misleading and don’t go according to your needs all they are doing is selling the appointment. Good luck you will need it!!!

This center is amazing! We did not have to wait long. Nothing like the one in Hialeah. The rep was very friendly and professional. The company overall is incompetent! We disconnected their service due to too many human errors! I am now being charged for service after I disconnected their services! Incredible!

For any issues better get here at 7:00 am, even though they open at 9:00 am. Worst customer service ever. Try to call them to resolve my problem, was sent through different reps, have to end up here. Came at 9:00 am and over 35 people already there. Came back next day at 7:00 am and I was the third person in line. Being with them for over 10 years but it looks like they don’t care about customer loyalty.

Wait times are 1 – 2 hours, not enough seating areas, had to sit on the floor. Then to have a 5 minute interaction with a service rep. They need more staff working here in Oder to keep up with demand.
Or maybe this is a sign on how crappy their products are.

With all the money Comcast makes they can’t so much as to add more chairs or bodies? And by bodies I mean staff? Been here 2 times already and they’ve been short staffed. Unbelievable. Thank god we’re taking off cable and switching to a 10 dollar antenna from best buy and also having netflix for $ 8 a month so we won’t have to deal with this at all. Trust me, I won’t miss cable. Besides, there’s only crappy reality shows on, the days of quality tv programming are over. I urge all of you to do the same!
SUCK IT COMCAST.

Easily, one of the worst experiences of your life will be had here.
Such long waits it isn’t even funny. Even if you have a simple request, you will have to wait hours to get attention. It is no secret that Comcast service is a joke. The only reason I am their customer is because their internet is the fastest in my area. But god help you if you have a problem, because they won’t.

THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY!!!
Why can’t utilities catch up to the technology and customer service driven mentality of all our other services?!
Why do I have to stand around for an hour and a half to be lectured by a customer service rep about how I should have known better?
Really comcast, I wish I had another choice. And I wish you could come up with a better way of servicing your customers!

I have been to this location in the past and the more I add services from comcast I fear having to someday have to go to this office. Why can comcast afford to open up more offices, people who are more professional. I have been there where customers have gotten into altercations with the workers. Comcast you are going to loose customers if you don’t fix this problem!

I don’t know how, or why, it takes so long to just pick up a cable box. It should be a simple, quick, transaction. And actually, it is, but plan on waiting an hour to 90 minutes at the very least before you can even get to that point.
This alone is worth no more than one star. It means that to do any business here, you will necessarily have to ruin your lunch hour, or ruin a perfectly good Saturday afternoon. No getting around it.
Also, when you go inside, you enter into a huge mass of people, not knowing what exactly you need to do to get your name on the wait list. There’s no one directing. It’s a disorderly blob.
After the requisite 90 minutes, the woman at the counter knew what she was talking about, and was reasonably efficient. Unfortunately, that is not enough to save this place. The inherent waste of time just isn’t excusable.

Can I please, please, pleeeeaaassseee give this place zero stars?!?
It’s more miserable in here than at the DMV. I’ve been here thirty minutes and have already considered taking pills, bashing my head into a wall, or taking any other drastic measure that will make it better. #firstworldproblems
Why do all the people in here look like they could be on an episode of Jerry Springer? First exchange I heard when I walked in was between an 85 year old lady and her 50something daughter. It went a little something like this:
Daughter: SHUT UP MOM!
Lady: If YOUUUU don’t shut up I’m gonna smack you upside the head!
Daughter: That’s great mom! Go ahead and smack me then you’ll have domestic violence in front of fifty five people!
Lady: Oooh I’d love if it that happened!
Remind me to save up money so I can pay someone to come here for me if I ever need their services again.
FU Comcast! There is not a word in the English language to describe how much I loathe you and your horrible service center.
