Metro Alignment & Power Steering Corp

I have been going to Metro for 10 years now. Never once have I been taken for granted. The prices are more than fair the cheapest around and they do great work ! Best of all they stand by their work. The owners Mike and Angelo are great, warm and friendly. They are honest and so are the mechanics. That is why I will never leave them. When something is wrong with my car I will always bring it to Metro. There is a waiting room with sofas and a television for you to sit and wait for your car if you have to or I can just drop my car off and be on my way without a single worry. They really know what they are doing. They aren’t the type of people that will make you fix something if it doesn’t need fixing. They’ll tell you that your brakes still have life, or your tires still have tread, or just needs a liitle oil. Women out there are fearful of being taken. All the other Auto Repair shops you go to, they’ll try and get you for anything they can that does not happen here. HONEST HONEST HONEST !!! Love them and you will too !!!

Avoid this place. I called ahead to find out if they could change my Honda Civic wiper blades, a seemingly simple task. They quoted me a reasonable price over the phone. When I got there the place was literally filled with exhaust fumes from a running van. I was greeted by a grizzled old man with no social skills and an attitude. First, he told me it would be a 10 minute wait, then 2 minutes later, he told me a 20 minute wait as his service person was «at lunch». Meanwhile 2 service guys were sitting on their rears literally doing nothing. I have an appt. next week with Yonkers Honda and will have the blades replaced by them, thank you. Customer service needed to get my business-​this concept is failed on many including Metro Auto. :(

I was looking through Unilocal,google, yellow pages and everywhere to find a service station that stayed open after 5pm so I can get my NYS inspection renewed. Last year I got a ticket for letting it expire and this year my trifling behind waited until the last day to handle my business, unreal! I called this company and they stated they were open until 5:30 so i flew there after work and made it by 5:15pm. The workers looked as if they were ready to leave and I begged the owner to help a sista out and thankfully he did. My car was serviced and completed in about 15 minutes with my new sticker, woo hoo. I generously tipped the owner and guy who completed my inspection to show my appreciation, okay $ 5 each thats all the cash I had. The owner stated his family had the business for over 50 years and you could tell by his old office stocked with tons of papers probably from 50 years ago. LOL I would definitely bring my car back to this company for services.

Went in because the other big name places on Metropolitan ave. rated so poorly. I needed a tune up. Angelo gave me only what he thought I should get for the miles I had on the car. He even discouraged me from doing to much because it wasnt necessary. I checked an online forum for what other people have paid for tune ups on my car and Angelo was cheaper. Very happy with everything at Metro.
