History

Established in 1954.

Sam White & Sons was established in 1954 by Sam White. Sam and his wife Agnes, having six kids, ran the company out of the living room of their Newton home. Agnes was the company secretary, and Earle B. White Jr., along with his brothers Jack and Bobby, helped get the business running after his service in the United States Army. Together, the family delivered landscape supplies to the surrounding area with their three company trucks.

In 1980, the company began constructing a garage in Medfield. This new location was opened shortly after and became the company headquarters. Earl and Jack kept the place running, and Earle’s kids Dan White and Donna McGill began working for the company. Brother’s Jack and Bobby split from the company and Earle became the primary owner.

In the year 2000, Earle, Danny, and Donna began constructing a garage in Middleborough, and opened the new location shortly after. This expansion has opened new doors for Sam White & Sons Inc.

Business Owner

Sam and his wife Agnes established a family run business in 1954. The business was incorporated in 1961. Sam with his wife Agnes ran the company out of the living room of their Newton home. Agnes was the company secretary. Earle B. White Jr., after his service in the United States Army, worked with his brothers Jack and Bobby to help get the business running. Together, the family delivered landscape supplies to the surrounding area with their three company trucks. Sam was the one who established the business, and over the past five decades, his legacy for prompt and sufficient delivery of landscape materials has continued on.
