Buddy’s Pizza Pub

Great pub food in a good atmosphere. Creative draft beer list and good pizza options.

I’ve eaten here a few times and haven’t felt the need to rave or complain about it.
What usually brings us here is this scenario. Husband comes home, I forgot to take something out for dinner or I don’t feel like cooking at ALL. He offers to bring something in… we hem and haw over what we want. We could try Buddy’s again.
My take out orders are often wrong, but I am usually ravenous by this point so I just eat what I get.
We did get the buffalo chicken egg roll the last time, (was supposed to be BBQ) but it was really good. Perfect blend of buffalo to chicken to eggroll. I didn’t even mind that there was celery in it. I will order again, but I will probably wind up with the BBQ then :)

What a gem! Great local place with fantastic food, good staff and a killer beer selection. I had the Clam Chowder which ranks as some of the best I’ve had. And, the Italian pizza was perfect with fresh mozzarella.

Very Good pizza joint. They always has a great draft beer selection, which is not typical in the area. If you’re a beer critic, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Kind of tucked away, and hidden. They also have more on the menu than just pizza, though it is the highlight. Service is good/​friendly.

Pound for pound, probably the best restaurant in the area. Great selection of drinks, beers, and food. The pizza is the best in the area. They always have great specials too. We really didn’t know what to expect, looked small and its tucked in the back corner of a strip mall. But what a little gem this place is!

Don’t be discourage by the strip mall appearance, if this place had a better spot or location it would absolutely kill it.
Great local spot not known by many but you won’t regret walking in! Turkey guac burger is amazing, food is overall very above average as well as stocked with great beers on tap. Definitely one of the top pubs/​bar style places in the area.

Really laid back, comfortable atmosphere. They always have new craft brews whenever I go which is nice. They have a craft beer sampler too! The food has always been great — my favorites are the buffalo chicken wraps and mashed potato pizzas. The staff is very friendly and personable. All around a great place, highly recommended!

After reading everyone’s review my husband and I gave it a go! Blah– very small, no greeting when we walked into the place. We had to ask another table if it was seat yourself. Which it is by the way. I got the French dip. Don’t do it, it’s steak from the steak and cheese sub with an au jus buttered oily dip. Gross. The waiter never refilled our drinks which makes me upset since the food wasn’t all the great. My husband got the Maui burger said it was so so. The mashed that I got with my French dip was boxed potatoes. No salt or butter on them very bland. I figured maybe the pizza was better but the table of 5 men next to us was saying how they didn’t like anything any of them ordered. I’m sure this is great for a drink and maybe the bands are fun but the food wasn’t very good.

Fantastic. Great staff, friendly bartenders great drinks delicious salads and fantastic pizza! Always have great mix craft beers and buddy is always around! Definitely recommending to friends!

My wife and I tried Buddy’s last night. They have many craft beers and an extensive menu of great sounding drinks and pub style food. We both had a draft beer. Mine was a Baxter (I forget the name) and my wife tried the Berkley Beer Smoked Ale. We both enjoyed them. I ordered the Cali Steakhouse burger and let me tell you, it was probably in the top three of the best burgers I’ve ever had. If you like blue cheese, you should try this burger. It had Swiss cheese, blue cheese, A1 sauce and onion rings on top. As big as it was, I finished it. It came with a mound of crispy seasoned fries. My wife had the fish and chips. It had two decent sized pieces of fried Haddock and a ton of fries. If it were my plate, I’d like a little more fish and a little less fries but she was fine with it and enjoyed it a lot. Our waitress was very friendly and did a great job. The place is a little small but it wasn’t too crowded. We will definitely be back. There are so many other things on the menu I have to try.

Always consistent, great servers! Get the chicken and waffle sandwich when it’s on the special, outrageously good! Love the pizza. Craft beer selection is always interesting. Being very close to home I can go often and we do. They do have bands on Friday and Saturday, including tod duarte, one of my favorites. If you live in the area and haven’t found this yet your missing out!

Awesome place. Food is good but the beer selection is amazing. Great selection of local craft beer companies. Been here several times. Live music on the weekends is worth a trip.

This is the go to place for good pub food and craft brew selections. What I love about Buddy’s beside the location and price is the owner’s keen sense of keeping it local. Buddy’s carries several local brews such as Mayflower, Berkeley, Goodfellas and Bog Iron. Check it out at least once — guarantee you will be back!

Food was good; onion rings amazing! Will come back for the onion rings but only if good (micro; IPAs) are on tap. And if the IPA is Goodfellows!

I was out on the hunt for a meatball sub and the first place I tried closed an hour before their scheduled close time. As I drove I came to Buddy’s and found what I was looking for. I bought subs for my family and myself and they were great!
I now have a new go-​to place for meatball subs!

Found the food to be ok, nothing special. Wasn’t impressed with the service, very slow. It apparently didn’t bother the owner who just paid no attention to the customer service. Other than the young girls he was focused on. Not the first or 2^nd time here, but definitely the last.

This is a great little pub/​restaurant in a small strip mall. Since the renovations, the interior is great. It’s small but modern and welcoming.
I’ve only had sandwiches there so far. Typically the roast beef sandwich and onion rings. All of it was fresh and the onion rings were the nice flakey kind. No heavy grease-​laden food here.
I’ll have to try some of their other offerings, but so far it’s been pleasant.

Harry’s had a 45minute wait. All we needed was a cold beer and some pub food. Full bar and a great assortment of bottle beer. Miller High Life and they get Two Stars. The winner is the buffalo eggroll app.
