This Child care facility has serviced Infants thru school age families for over 35 years. Our full day Kindergarten, spacious classrooms, 4 acres of land and convenient location off Rt 71 make us a perfect fit. The balance of academics with a social emotional piece ensures that all of our children receive a well rounded and comprehensive curriculum. History

Established in 1981.

The business began in 1981 when child care was not the everyday norm. It was established to give the hard working parents a safe, loving, educational and home-​like environment for their children while they worked. Scribes began one of the first all day Kindergarten’s in it’s area. Now we have generations of families who have grown up in Scribes & Scribblers and continued thru Kindergarten graduation and beyond! We keep true to the unmistakable values this company was established on. The main goal is to run one center and do better then the competition. That is what we strive for and have continued to achieve for over 35 years.

The owner began Scribes because there was a definite need for a child care center that placed the children first. With a focus on the education, care and home-​like environment, Scribes took off and has not looked back. Being an artistic person, many hours were spent creating the elaborate events and decorations that you still see and experience today. Hundreds of children have been inspired, loved and cared for by this family. Many have come back to work for Scribes & Scribblers several years later. Scribes has been an icon in this community and remains one of the best centers in the industry because of it’s owners passion and love for the children and the community.
