Pheasant Run & II Apartments

Overall this was a good place to live. I spent one year at Pheasant Run II and I would rate this complex fairly high. I really was impressed by the friendliness of the resident managers and all of the activities that were planned for residents. I had a two bed loft with a roommate and I only had a few complaints. The primary one would be parking. Every so often the small upper lot would fill up forcing you to back out and park in the lower lot. My roommate exacerbated this by having two cars. This didn’t happen often, but invariably when I was returning from the grocery store. It also seemed nearly impossible for friends and acquaintances to find their way to the upper lot since it is slightly set back from the road and there is only a small streetlamp marking the entrance. During the winter there were a few times that I slid on past the driveway, but the blame rests more on the elements and the City of Middleton than the management. The kitchen was a bit small for the size of the apartment, but I did most of my «cooking» by walking down to Gino’s. Everyone in the building seemed quite nice and for the price it was definitely worth staying there. I would probably still be there had there been a ground-​level one bedroom open at the end of my lease.
