3 Springs Ranch

This is just such a relaxing special place to stay. It is very peaceful and private. 3 Springs Ranch has all the comforts of a 5 star resort in a bucolic setting in rural Northern California. There are world class wineries close by without all of the congestion and traffic of Napa and Sonoma. Dogs are welcome and there is lots of room for them to run free without any worries. Between the incredible comfort of beds and linens and the quiet setting you can easily sleep the day away! Middletown is just about 15 minutes away so no worries about anything you may have forgotten on your way here. There is a BBQ and a well stocked modern kitchen. They also have wifi and Direct TV. It’s just a fantastic place to stay!

They have a melon baller! That’s how stocked their kitchen is. I’ve never seen a melon baller in an actual kitchen before. As a child, I was always fascinated by those cute round melon balls I’d see on TV, and I always wanted to make those balls. Some chicks have visions of being a beautiful bride in an elaborate wedding ceremony – I had visions of being crafty and home & gardeny like Martha Stewart.
We had brought a watermelon so I finally got to use a melon baller. Now, having used one, I can pretty much say I will never use one again because man, those things take FOREVER (it is so much faster just to cut them in little pieces with a knife), but after all these years, a childhood curiosity finally come true.
There are a bunch of other gadgets in their kitchen that I have no idea what to do with. But I find them fascinating and maybe one of these visits I’ll unlock the mystery of a few.
Kitchen aside, 3 Springs Ranch is fast becoming our home away from home. We used to kind of have to force ourselves to step outside of our busy lives and spend more quality time together. Now we look forward to every visit to 3 Springs to regroup and recharge. It’s like a haven of tranquility for us where we can get away from the distractions of life and refocus on what’s truly important. The more we come here, the more I find myself becoming the kind of person I always wanted to be.

Loved staying at 3 Springs Ranch on a beautiful Spring weekend. The house comes stocked with everything you could need, just bring your own food. The beds are comfy, the air is crisp, the trails are terrific. You can really relax here. The drive to get there couldn’t be more enjoyable, through America’s première wine country, then up and over a mountain. Needless to say, our dogs had a ball, too. Highly recommended!

My husband and I have stayed at the beautiful 3 Springs ranch a few times. We have enjoyed both the main house and also Mila’s bunkhouse. We adore this vacation spot for its seclusion, privacy and beautiful natural surroundings. Our dogs have loved it, and it is an incredibly wonderful feeling to allow them total freedom to do everything that dogs love to do: run free and hard, sniff every inch of the property, then sleep soundly in the sunshine at our feet. The main house is so perfectly equipped and modern. I can’t think of an item of comfort and convenience that was missing. It’s a great kitchen and family room. Great place to cook, have a glass of wine and enjoy the expansive view. Having the special farm fresh items that are provided by the owners is icing on the cake! A perfect weekend retreat– priced amazingly reasonably and close to the Bay Area. Thanks 3 Springs! We will be back!
