Dempsey’s Grille is located on downtown Main Street at a location that has hosted a restaurant for more than 70 years. Our current owners have carried on the tradition for more than five of those years with a diner that is renowned for its fabulous catering services and scrumptious home-​cooked food.

History

Established in 2008.

We are a family owned and operated business in historic downtown Middletown. Our employees have worked for us for years and we are like family. Many local residents visit our diner style restaurant for the familiar & friendly atmosphere. We are proud to offer a clean, affordable and family friendly restaurant for people to gather.

Dempsey’s menu includes a full array of country breakfast item — waffles, blueberry pancakes, Texas style french toast, Hoffman’s sausage, Kunzler thick sliced bacon, corned beef hash, sausage and chipped beef gravies, biscuits, puddin, hominy and scrapple. We also have a New York strip steak & eggs special every day.

We offer daily breakfast, lunch and dinner specials.

Our customer favorites include — homemade soups, freshly sliced top round steak & cheese subs, chicken philly subs, homemade crab cakes and salmon cakes, reubens, homemade shrimp salad, all white meat chicken salad, meatloaf, steaks, assorted sandwiches, desserts & kids menu

We are the owners of Dempsey’s and to us this is more than a business. Dempsey’s has given us the opportunity to meet so many new and wonderful friends.

We all come together and do what we can to give back to the community in different ways. Every year we sponsor a fundraiser picnic to help a local family in need and are proud to present them with a check to help with medical expenses. We are also sponsors of the WFRE St Jude’s radiothon and other events.

It is important to us to provide the best experience possible every time a customer walks through our front door. 90% of the time, an owner family member will be working during business hours and we take pride in our business and hope you will have an enjoyable experience.
