Mike was quick to respond to my request for a quote — and the price was great so he set to work the next day. He and the crew were fantastic, they saved a lot of trees that a couple of other guys just wanted to «clear cut». My dad planted many of them himself so I’m glad they could do it. I’ll use Hufnagel again for sure!

Mike & his crew really are as good as it gets — skilled, knowledgable & courteous.
Mike’s worked on my property before, so when I needed tree service again, I called. He responded same day — happened to be working nearby, so he aded my job onto the end of his already busy day.
To top it off, Mike isn’t just a man with a chipper & a chainsaw… he’s a certified arborist that can diagnose your tree’s health & recommend the best path forward.

I don’t write many reviews but this one is well deserved. Mike and his crew were punctual, did exactly what they promised and the price quoted is what was charged. They cleaned up and we wouldn’t know they were even there except for the trees that were expertly trimmed away from the house. Thanks!

Michael and his workers, were very proficient in what they set out to do. He removed a nice size tree from the front of my house. He also did all the grinding work to the stump of the tree. Some minor work too, cut tree overhang that was on top of my house roof.
I will definitely recommend Michael and his co-​workers.
I have to say that I liked the work they did, but, most of all it was nice to see them work and NOT CHECKING THEIR CELL PHONES EVERY 2 MINUTES!
Price was reasonable!

I was very nervous about getting our beautiful mature maple tree trimmed but it was overgrowing the property and blocking light from reaching the front lawn. Response time was prompt. Michael made sure he understood exactly what we wanted to achieve, gave expert advice (talking me out of unnecessary and potentially costly work) and did a beautiful job of retaining the shape and symmetry of the tree without losing any of the shade and privacy it provided. Clean up was impeccable. This was the second time we had used this company. After Super Storm Sandy, Hufnagel managed to save our seriously damaged ornamental plum tree; it still looks great!

Called and the owner responded very promptly, within half hour! Scheduled a visit for an estimate the following day. I hired him and he and his crew did all the work the day after! I was very impressed. He showed up on time and was very flexible as I asked him to do some additional work on the appointed day. He gave me on the spot estimates, did the additional work and was happy to do it. Great customer service and his work was excellent — cleaned up well. His prices were reasonable and quite competitive. I was delighted with this company and can recommend them highly.

Thank you so much! After reading comments from other tree cutting companies, such as… gas lines being cut into OR homes being sliced into… I was skeptical about choosing a company for my home. Hufnagel Tree service company was professional from the initial phone call to waving goodbye. The owner was on time for appraisal and the entire crew for the day of working (early actually, ready to go!). Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, worked well together, and did an outstanding and thorough job! WOW actually, I’m very happy and THANKFUL!!!
