One star for lack of response and an error that cost me $ 1200.
Long story short — an agent w/​KW neglected to tell me, or put into the rental contract, that the house we rented (sight unseen) was going to be partially furnished. I gave him, and the agency, 3 months and multiple tries to remedy the situation or help cover the storage unit I had to rent, but they there is still no resolution or response from the agency. There may be good agents that work with this group, but I wouldn’t plan on them being responsive once they have their money. Save yourself some pain and go to Newport Rents or Libby Kirwin to rent. I have worked successfully with the former and my friends with the later, and they will be much more responsive.

I have used KW to get both of my apartments since I moved to Newport, and both times I have had a wonderful experience. A lot of realtors in this area can come off as snobby, pretentious and disinterested, which is what I have found when I talked with other people. Kate S. and Marissa G. at KW are awesome. They care about their clients getting good, affordable apartments, they listen to what you want in your new place, and you don’t feel like you are competing for attention with 7,000 other apartment seekers. Both times KW has been flexible with my schedule and I have gotten great places!
