Skycroft is located on almost 300 acres atop beautiful South Mountain in Frederick County, Maryland. Owned and operated by the mid-Atlantic Baptist Network, the center opened in 1977. Development has continued to accommodate 300+ overnight guests year round.
Take advantage of the opportunity to slip away into a quiet spot to reflect, to be re-created, to be refreshed in the beauty of «God’s great outdoors.» We offer a variety of housing accommodations, beautiful surroundings, excellent dining options, warm and friendly service at reasonable rates. Both indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities are available including a high and low ropes courses, paintball course, and a zip line.
Skycroft and the surrounding area are rich in Civil War history, where a significant part of the Battle of South Mountain was fought in 1862.

Business Owner
The Mid-Atlantic Baptist Network is a cooperative missions and ministry organization made up of more than 500 autonomous Baptist churches in the mid-Atlantic Region. A variety of state and worldwide ministries are coordinated through its administrative offices in Columbia, MD including: missions work, disaster relief, ministry training and support, church development, evangelism and more.
The mid-Atlantic Baptist Network is strategically located in the heart of the mid-Atlantic region. From the suburbs of the nation’s Capitol, to the mountains of western Maryland, to the seashore, to the Chesapeake Bay watershed, to the urban centers of Baltimore and Wilmington, mid-Atlantic Baptist Network serves its constituent churches. The the mid-Atlantic states represent a highly diverse population with nearly six million people organized in twenty-seven counties.
