The Meadows

We were recommended to come here from someone that we met at another restaurant and decided to try it. FABULOUS!!! Do not be in a hurry when you come here because the food is fresh and made to order. Well worth the wait! A diamond in the rough. I recommend that you make reservations because it is a smaller establishment.

Very relaxed older atmosphere. Excellent service, excellent food. Should have a reservation that is called in not via Unilocal.Highly recommend it for a date.

The interior was nice and very quaint. The food was amazing!!! I had NY Strip and it melted in my mouth! My husband had the rack of lamb, he said it was very, very good.
I had a beer Corona w/​lime and my husband had 2glasses of blend red wine. As appetizers I enjoyed a very delicious cup of onion soup, my husband had the crab cake which he throughly enjoyed except the seaweed. That he didn’t care for very much.
I had chocolate mousse for dessert which I so full I couldn’t even eat it all! It was drizzled w/​chocolate, caramel and peanut butter sauce! Maybe peanut butter sauce tasted like it! :).
Jennifer our server was very attentive and on top of everything! She wasn’t very familiar with the wines but none the less the service was top notch all around!

This is the best restaurant I have ever been to! The food was excellent, very fresh and flavorful! And the service was just as awesome as the food.

Thank you Meadows. We had a great experience here for our Thanksgiving dinner. Food was amazing and the restaurant has a cool old school vibe. Looking forward to returning next time we are in town.

The meadows was recently closed for a couple years and reopened under new ownership in 2014 I believe.
We were skeptical about the new ownership as is to be expected when one of your favorite restaurants undergoes such a transformation.
With one visit, our concerns were swept away with a fantastic meal.
The restaurant is an absolute classic. The opposite of today’s typical chain eatery. The interior is tastefully rustic with timeless charm.
The food. Ahhhh, the food. Having sampled a large percentage of their offerings, I have been very happy with everything I have ever had. I do however highly recommend the Scottish Salmon. I have had it many times. It is beautifully done, grilled to perfection, yet incredibly moist inside and set upon a creamy sauce with capers, toped with grilled asparagus… How can you go wrong.
Oh, and the Maytag blue cheese salad dressing is to die for.

Prime rib was the special but was pretty tough. Alfredo was ok. Pork chops good. Nice atmosphere and pretty good service.
