History

Established in 1979.

It is my mother’s belief that every child deserved an individualized approach to an education. She taught in Teaneck, NJ for many years. She found that the children in her class did not all have the same academic abilities. It is very difficult to teach to a class of 34 children when some are reading, some aren’t, and the children’s skills did not meet their grade level.

She developed her own materials to bring the curriculum to a classroom with a wide range of ability levels in it. Her system of education became so popular, she had a waiting list to get into her classroom. As a result of her success, she was asked to share these methods with other teachers in the district.

Nancy left public school to become a mom but teaching never left her mind and heart. When the time came for me to attend a preschool, she saw a new way to share her talents with younger children.
