History
Established in 1996.
I moved from Ohio in 1984 and my first apartment was not ideal. Over the course of getting things straightened out, the office manager offered me a job leasing apartments. This began my career in property management. In 1996 I began my Apartment Locating business in Charlotte. My business allowed me to be home with my small boys. By 2010, my boys were becoming men and I found I had more time to invest into my business. I incorporated, hired employees, leased office space and have plans to be a statewide by 2014 end.
My background in property management along with being a renter (with a not so great start in my first apartment) and being a parent, creates a perfect marriage of professional experience and heart.
Now as a team, this is our sweet spot. This is our niche.
Today we partner with over 170 apartments in the greater Charlotte area and continue to grow those numbers.
Many of our partner apartment communities offer discounts to our clients.
Meet the Business Owner
Cheryl M.
Business Owner
I was born in Toledo, OH and named after a tugboat called, the (Cheryl Ann) from a TV show, Waterfront (1954). I was adopted and raised as an only child and move 13 times by the time I graduated high school. I moved to Charlotte, NC in 1984. I began my career in property management right away. I went on my first date with my husband on Labor Day, 1988. We got married on New Years eve. in 1991. Being married on New Years eve can be confusing when you try to think of how many years you have been married. So, we take our oldest and + 1. I began my apartment locating business in 1996. My husband was able to retire from the CMPD in September, 2012, two years early because he drove a school bus while he was in high school. We have just bought a small farm outside of Charlotte and are hoping to raise bison, chickens and bees. We are a christian family and believe in God’s two greatest commandments. Love God, Love your neighbor. (All Neighbors)
