Chips and queso are awesome! Queso is nice and thick, chips are house made. I got the super spinach Salad with blackened salmon. Giant piece of salmon cooked perfect. My girlfriend got the chicken scampi. Pasta sauce tastes house made, really friendly staff. Mice atmosphere

The only place I go for a great reuben. It’s hard not to get the Turkado. Refreshing Stella Artois makes it complete. Great job guys. Thanks always for the pleasant service as well.

A friend referred me to eat here while in Midland for a couple of weeks. I called in today to place a to-go order and the girl was very nice; I told her I was feeling sick, but had an appetite and asked what she recommended. I got home with my meal and found this sweet note from her; this is what you call excellent customer service and even just being a good human being. The food tasted great(good quality and flavor) and my once sick spirit was lifted knowing kind, thoughtful strangers still exist.

Love this deli. It can get very packed at lunch. Park out back of you can. Dinner is not near as busy, and you also get better one on one service. We eat here a lot, dinner it is close to my home. Best BLT in town.

Classic Midland eatery! Feels like you are in a big city pub. They have cool décor & a nice atmosphere. The restrooms may be a bit small, & parking can be scarce on their busier days. It can be especially crazy when there is a line in front, but more people are coming in from the back door(or on the way back & forth from the restroom). It starts getting congested around the register pretty fast! Food-wise, I really like their cream of broccoli soup(vegetarian-friendly!), & occasionally the veggie pita. They have a great selection of crackers right across from the drink station(Saltines, Captains Wafers, even wheat-bread-based Captains Wafers). Sometimes we’ll take our meals to-go, especially if it is too crowded in the restaurant.

Pretty good fare for lunch for Midland. I like their heavenly salad and their burgers and soups.

Friend and I came and we ordered the French Dip and the Chik-ado. I got the Chick-ado because I heard it was great – overall I thought it was okay. I felt that chicken was a bit over-cooked and dry. My friend thought the French Dip was terrible. The roost beef was also really dry and the au jus did not make it any better.

Food was pretty dang good. The homemade mayo is incredible. I didn’t expect fresh curly fries from a deli, but they were very good. Sandwiches were large and good.

I’ve been a fan of Murray’s for decades. For a time it was the only place in town to have Guinness on tap. It’s definitely one of my favorite local hangouts. The only downside is that they no longer wait tables during dinner. It’s like lunch, where you order at the counter and they call your name. It’s not a deal-breaker, I just don’t like staple places to change. It was a necessary evil in our stressed job market.

Grew up going here for lunch. During lunch you order at the counter and they call your name when your order is ready. They do traditional table service during dinner, and it’s usually not very busy at dinner. I still enjoy going back when I’m in town visiting my parents. I usually get the turkado with curly fries. The curly fries are SO good. I was surprised by the negative reviews. I’ve never had a bad experience at Murray’s. Great lunch spot! It does get busy during lunch, so come early to beat the crowd or opt for a later lunch.

Had the Chick ado sandwich. It was just ok. Nothing special. The tea tasted stale and the potato salad was also just ok.

The food is average, I was expecting more after reading great reviews… it is more of home style food, simple &OK. The building being a bit older does have a funny smell to it but didn’t bother me as much, I do wish it had more light though… almost felt like I was eating in the dark.

This is a midland staple for me. I have been here so many times I lose count. Always great food, good atmosphere and the beer is cold. Get a chickado and a black and tan… awesome

Very uncomfortable atmosphere! The lad was very rude and has no customer skills– ended up walking out– never will I go back! Not worth money if they talk about before you even order anything!

Best sandwich shop around. Everything I have tried is delicious and I have tried plenty of things. I never can decide what I want. My favorites are the turkey mornay and the turkado. Very good curly fries. Amazing seafood gumbo. And great Rubens. Their burgers, french dip and beef eater are on top too. I could go on and on. They are a little pricy. But you are getting what you pay for. If you want a cheap sandwich, go to subway. But this is 100 times better.

I may rewrite if I come back… but, right now I’m not«getting» these great reviews. First off, thirty bucks for one drink, a salad, and a kids sandwich? Steep. Welcome to midland. Next, my French dip had thin dried up roast beef sandwich meat. Fries soggy. Chicken on salad is dry, flavorless. Disappointed.

Pretty good burger place! Fun atmosphere and decent beer selection for the area. One of the few good local places in town. Only thing I don’t like is the unfiltered Midland water they use in their cokes. Pretty gross really.

Murrays is another Midland staple. Great for lunch or dinner. Jalapeño burger is great. Fries are great as well. Long wait if you go for lunch, beware.
