Authentic food for a cheap price. I’ve been going to Rosa’s for years and I don’t have any complaints. Service is super fast. I barely have enough time to get my drink before they call my number. Everything I’ve tried off the menu has been great. If you have a problem with Rosa’s you’re probably the devil

This is a chine restaurant, a step above fast food but not fully a diner. It has good food and fresh ingredients. I would avoid the one in Odessa off 42nd St. But the other location have been great. Only reason not more stars is because it is a simple place but is five star for taking own category.

Solid food here usually, nothing special. I little costlier than say Taco Villa, and a tad better. Food is fresh and in avg quantities. Good fresh salsas and cilantro. My wife loves their chocolate cake; it’s meh to me though.

I am a off and on regular customer. Can you please tell your drive thru cashiers to make sure they put the customers salsa in the bag right side up. I always end up with salsa on my interior due to careless assembling. Shouldn’t be too hard to do.

Not bad. Tortillas were definitely fresh and enchiladas tasted homemade. Sauces and drink station are in a good location-easy to get to and the overall flow to order food is good. My only complaint is that the seating needs to be a little more organized so that customers don’t have to squeeze through the tables adjacent to the booths… it’s a little bit of a safety hazard, but decent food!

Visiting the area, decided to try this restaurant. I will rate each area on a scale from 1(poor) to 5(excellent). 1. Ease of ordering: Waited in line for about 5 mins. No more than most places. Rating 5. 2. Friendliest of staff. Cashier was okay. I wanted to change my order and the cashier rolled her eyes. Rating 3. 3. Cleanliness of restaurant. Clean. They bus tables fairly quickly. Could spend a little more time cleaning up around tables. Rating 4. 4. Bathroom appearance/cleanliness. Did not use. No rating. 5. Quality of food: I ordered a pork tamale and cheese enchilada. The enchilada was okay but was quite disappointed with the tamale. It was very dry and quite small: about ½″ diameter. I love spicy but can no longer eat it. I couldn’t find anything on the salsa bar that wasn’t spicy. Rating: 2. 6. Beverage bar. They have an assortment of soft drinks. The drink I wanted was spitting out only foam. I brought it to their attention and they said they would check it then. I returned about 30 minutes later for a refill and it was still spitting out foam. Rating 3.5. Overall rating: ***** 3 stars. Not sure if I would return or not; I would first look around to see if I found something better.

No sir… not appetizing at all. Had the chicken fajita plate. The 3.5 pieces on my plate was barely warm and looked like it came out of a can. Tortillas were ok. What made it edible was the salsa… which I poured over my fajitas. Go elsewhere…

Worst Rosas in Midland. Went through the drive thru just to order nachos, when I got home there was NOCHEESE on my nachos. Called the manger Dave and he told me to come back, when I went back he didn’t even give me my money back or offer me anything for the hassle to drive back! There the worst. I prefer the Rosas on Andrews Hwy.

EVERYTHING I’ve had at Rosas has always been great. If only mr. Cox would open a Big Spring location. Fajitas are OFFTHECHAIN. Tortillas are soft and fluffy. Rice is seasoned just right also light and fluffy. Beans are refried and delicious. The salsa bar is unrivaled. Sopapillas and honey. Yes please. Their chile verde is good, not too spicy but good nonetheless. The only issue I have had is that the evening crews are usually slow to clean up, so it makes it difficult to find a table for a large party(my family consists of 6 including myself) Oh yes I almost forgot the SWEETTEA is the best and always fresh.

OK, I will admit right up front that I’ve been eating Rosa’s for most of my life– so I have a sentimental attachment. That said, fresh tortillas, a killer salsa bar, outstanding fajitas, and pretty good everything else is tough to beat. This location, and every other Rosa’s I’ve even been to, is always clean and the staff gets the job done well. Make sure you go on Taco Tuesday, but you’d better beat the crowd if you do.

I’m new to the area and I have heard people rave about Rosa’s. I ordered the taco plate(beef) and was not impressed at all. The beef was lacking a lot of flavor. I also decided to try the tamale and it was blah also. The tortilla was okay. I did like the tortilla at first but as it cooled it just got more rubbery. It is better than store bought ones though. I understand that it is a fast food/casual dining place but I expected better. This place may have been better if I went in and ate there instead of going through the drive through because I heard you can add different toppings and such so I may give it another shot.

[ p ] I have been here twice and both times I was not impressed. The Smothered Burrito dinner was my first fare and the Mexican Dinner was my second. The tortilla used for the burrito was hard on the ends and underside. Smothered burritos are supposed to be tender! The Mexican dinner fared no better with the enchilada coming out as «warm» at best. the beans and rice were bland and tasteless both times. Did I mention that their«chili» is nothing more than canned Hormel chili you can get from H.E.B on a good day for a couple bucks a can? The only good part of both visits was the salsa bar which, like their silverware and dishes, was not the cleanest and it shows. The salsas were good but left me wondering if their dishes and bar are this unkempt, what does this say for the food served in and on them respectively? Overall, for all the hype and long lines out to the street, I expected this place to be better than what I experienced not once but twice and was let down both times handily. Maybe this place is popular because most people in Midland don’t know or care about true Mexican cooking because Rosa’s isn’t the business. Haven’t come back and won’t. Want some good Mexican, skip Rosa’s which is, as previously mentioned, barely a step above Taco Bell. *NOTE* Current /Previous experiences marked with [c] /[p]*

On the road last night looking for some place to eat. I didn’t have much luck with other places in town so I hit this place. Food, service and cost was 5 star. It looked a bit like fast food from some of the pictures but it wasn’t. Food was great. Restaurant portion looked inviting; inside and drive through was busy. Only thing I would have liked was one darker beer selection. Regardless I would come back.

I was disappointed after eating here. I really wanted to like this restaurant but thinking about it… No. Not worth it. And will probably never go back. Atmosphere was nice and clean. I like the variety of salsas and side bar they offer. I ordered the sour crème sauce beef enchiladas. I can’t even explain how… Horrible it was… The tortilla they use for enchiladas was like this rubbery/plastic feeling«tortilla» and the beef was unflavored ground beef… I asked for no beans and of course they still give me beans… The rice was ordinary. I basically wasted food and money because I didn’t eat the enchiladas or beans… I did like their homemade tortilla. It was soft, warm and fluffy. So I rolled the rice in it and ate it with salsa and jalapeños. My boyfriend got steak fajitas and the steak was tough and non flavored. His meal came with this chip bowl and had lettuce and veggies in it and the chip bowl was def stale and old. My boyfriend isn’t picky… But something’s wrong when he doesn’t touch my food and if he doesn’t even finish his… So all together we ordered three meals(my brother ordered chicken fajitas, I don’t even need to get into details) *thumbs down. And it was very pricey for SUCKY Mexican food.(It was about $ 40)

First time in midland and ate here based on the reviews. I wasn’t disappointed! Got the chicken enchilada and a beef taco. Both were excellent as well as the beans and rice that came with them. Gave me a couple tortillas which I think come with all meals and they were delicious. Everything was fresh and came out rather quickly for a Friday night. Add to your food bucket list.

I really can’t resist giving this restaurant a five star review, I have been having my Beef fajita meal #9 almost every day for the past three months! I love the interior ambience, the mexican colourful theme décor and design is very joyful and gives me a sense of happiness! The menu is good and full of flavour, my favourite as I mentioned is the beef fajita, it is to die for, grilled just perfect and very tender. My wife is a very big fan of the chocolate cake. A confession to make, Rosa’s café is the restaurant that got me into loving Mexican food, and in my opinion is one of the best Mexican food restaurants that I frequent here in Midland.

I do love me some Rosa’s. This location does not disappoint. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The #14 beef(or chicken if I am in the mood) with queso always delivers. They are sometimes skimpy with the fillings, but I have experienced that at all Rosa’s locations. I love the salsa bar for adding your own taste sensation. Sweet tea and Diet Dr. Pepper drink options are always appreciated.
