My husband and I tried an assortment of small items on our first and only visit here; none were worth repeating. Cookies were dry, dense and tough — one refused to break in half at all! Cupcakes were bland and also very dry — not sure when the items are made fresh here but that might make a difference…

I was so disappointed and pissed to say the least. I ordered a cake from here for my sons 1^st birthday party. I told them I needed it by 2 pm, the party started at 5. My dad went to pick the cake up and it wasnt ready until after 5! When it finally got to my house, it was the worst excuse for a cake I had ever seen. The art work on it was uneven and awful looking, and the cake sheet it sits on in the box well it was almost off if the cake sheet. Absolutely rediculious and a JOKE for what we paid. When I said something about it later all that was said to me was, well the girl that did it doesnt have a lot of experience and the girl that usually does cakes was sick… then she needs to go to walmart, but they still probably would have done a better job then her. Never never never going back.

I stop by this bakery for an occasional treat. The service is good most of the time but the cupcakes are amazing. They have all kinds of tasty flavors and the cupcakes are huge! If you can believe it, they are only $ 1.75 each. I wanted to surprise my employees so I bought a dozen, which was $ 19 with tax.
I saw a cake in process the day I went and the young lady decorating it was doing an awesome job. I would definitely recommend this bakery if you need a cute cake for any occasion.
Worth the drive to Midlothian from say Mansfield? For the Italian wedding cake cupcake, heck yeah!
