Our compassionate physicians for women provide individualized care to females of all ages. We are passionate about our patients and we deliver the highest quality of care. At Dominion Women’s Health, Inc., we provide care during pregnancy, preventative care including annual wellness and breast exams, as well as treatment for menopause and fibroids. Most insurances are accepted at all of our greater Richmond offices including Midlothian, West End, and Mechanicsville. If surgery is required, our doctors specialize in the latest treatment using robotics for procedures such as hysterectomy.

History

Established in 2000.

What began as a practice with only one doctor has developed to meet the growing needs of the area with a total of 6 physicians & 2 nurse practitioners. We have offices throughout the greater Richmond vicinity from Midlothian to Mechanicsville and Tappahannock to Henrico. We stay true to our roots providing compassionate & individualized care to each of our patients. We guarantee appointments within 48 hours and can usually see you the same day. Our services have grown to be able to provide ultrasounds onsite including 3D/​4D images of your baby in addition to specialized treatment for menopause! Dominion Women’s Health also has the most experienced surgeons using minimally invasive robotics allowing for faster recovery for our patients. We look forward to continuing to help females during adolescents, pregnancy, menopause and every stage in between for many years to come.

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Danny Shaban is the Founder and President of Dominion Women’s Health, Inc. As a Board-​certified OB/​GYN, he’s also the Director of Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery for Intuitive Surgical Epicenter, and the Director of Richmond’s Epicenter training for Robotic Surgery nationally. In addition to teaching, Dr. Shaban treats patients at all of the 4 Richmond area offices. He also performs deliveries and surgeries for obstetrics and gynecology at all major hospitals throughout the area. He has expanded the office to include 5 additional physicians and 2 nurse practitioners with on-​site ultrasounds and in office procedures performed.
