Family owned and operated for 30+ years. We offer a full-service automotive repair facility and tire shop. Our trained technicians can handle diagnostics, engine repair, transmissions, brakes, and front-end alignment. We carry all major brands of tires in all sizes. We provide road service and have three state-of-the-art service trucks to handle tires of all sizes. Recaps are also available. We are a Virginia state inspection station and AAA approved auto repair facility. Our showroom offers a clean waiting room, flat screen TV, WiFi, coffee bar, clean restrooms and pet friendly. Our goal is to exceed your expectations.
History
Established in 1985.
Old Dominion Tire started in 1985 in a small garage in our back yard. We obviously grew. We first moved to a rental facility on Route 360 in Midlothian, where we only sold tires. We realized quickly our customers needs were not being met. So, we expanded to our current location at 3111 Warbro Road. We now have nine service bays, and do complete automotive repair. Our technicians are well trained and are constantly updating their knowledge base. We have state-of-the-art equipment, continuously upgrading to the latest and best available. Our goal is to exceed your expectations at all times. Our company policy is to treat people in the manner in which we wish to be treated.
Meet the Business Owner
John K.
Business Owner
John (our owner) is Virginia’s only tireologist. His background in tires began when he was 17 years old. He has progressed from working with manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and now his own shop. He has received many awards from various industry groups, including the Virginia Automotive Association. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Virginia Automotive Association. He is an active member of the South Richmond Rotary Club. You won’t see him without his pin. He is active in the community as a volunteer with the Hospital Hospitallity House and the World Pediatric Hospital. He serves with the Chesterfield Animal Shelter. He loves to hunt, fish and do anything outdoors. Ask him, he’ll tell you a fish story.
