Ray is awesome!
I’ve been going to R&R for a few years now. On this this particular day I was in a rush for an an oil change, so I zipped over to Merlin 2000 Miles shop in Midlothian (dislike). They changed the oil and told me I needed tie rods with a pricey estimate. A few days later I went back to Ray and asked for a quote for something like that. He quoted me at a fraction of the cost. I let him know why I was asking and he inspected the tie rods just in case. He said they were fine and even showed me both tie rods while the car was raised.
Ray has fixed a few things on my car and I trust him. It’s hard to find reliable and HONEST mechanics. I haven’t had any problems out of R&R and have recommended him to others.

***STAY AWAY ***
I went to Rob and Ray’s place for a year getting oil changes and I had a trans flush as well, nothing major. One time I went in there and told them I thought I needed back brakes and that I believed I had drum brakes. Ray asked if I had been to any other mechanics. I told him no. He came back to me after inspection stating that I needed all new hardware, drums, pads, etc. and that it would be $ 325+. I thanked him and went to a friend who is also mechanic. He stated that nothing besides pads had to be replaced and it would cost $ 75 with labor. I feel these guys tried to rob me. STAY AWAY!!!
