I’ve been to many muffler shops before but Gabriel’s will be the last. His attention to detail and customer service were fantastic. Gabriel fitted a Corsa Performance exhaust on my 08 Corvette — a car I only trust a skilled mechanic with. Gabriel ensured my vehicle was well taken care of and that I left happy. I will be bringing all future cars here!

I’ve been here and worked with Gabriel about 6 times, and every time the service is A+ ⁵⁄₅ Stars. Weather I’m getting a full racing exhaust system built for my racecar, or I am getting something nice subtle for my cruiser, Gabriel is the man. This man has been blessed by the gods of welding and his work is an absolute artwork! He is the man.

I’ve been to a few exhaust shops in the past. This place is fantastic. They know what they are doing, get it done quickly, and do it well. I came in the day after having work done to make an adjustment and they got on it immediately. Their prices are very competitive as well. Will come back for all future work.

After having a terrible experience with Bro muffler in HB I continued my search to get some work done underneath the vehicle. I called around, and Gabe was the most helpful as well in explaining to me how the muffler worked with the resonator. One stood out to me the most was how he operated his business in a professional manner. Most places won’t hesitate to take your money after agreeing with his quote price I asked him what he thought if I removed the stock resonator and added a magnaflow one. He gave me the run down it why did I need that if I already had the stock resonator. Instead he advises me to save my money instead as he would delete the stock muffler and resonator and go with straight pipes to achieve a gain in exhaust tone. Mind you I wanted to keep my exhaust system stock. I will gladly recommend people to Gabe!!!

Got an exhaust installed here it was super fast and it looked great! Would recommend without a doubt! Also charged me a lot less than I was quoted everywhere else. Great shop!

Recently got a custom exhaust system for my gti and Gabriel was great. Very insightful about what is going to be done. Very cheap and worth it!

If there was an option to put 0 I would. Wanted to charge me $ 60 to weld a tiny piece of metal onto my shocks.

i needed to put my muffler back up. The other shop i went to did a crappy job and everything was crooked. Went into this shop. Took me just 10 minutes. Came out like it was never been cut up. Def recommended. Give Gabriel a chance to help you out. You won’t be disappointed!

What a rip off! So I bent one of my exhaust pipes and to fix it the guy wants to charge me $ 80 just to bend it back out, that is ridiculous! I don’t know what everyone is talking about great deal this guy was trying to say you will not find anyplace cheaper BS! Got it done for $ 30 down the street. Never will I come back or refer anyone.

Just got my aftermarket exhaust installed and it was an execelent job! I found Gabe’s shop on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I gave him a call and he said I can come since it was not busy at that time.
Gabe is friendly and has lots of experiences working on cars. The price he asked was reasonable. The previous owner of my car had the stock exhaust welded to the catalytic converter instead of 3 bolt-​flange. Gabe did a good welding job to make a flange that also works as an adapter from a smaller pipe to a bigger pipe since my new exhaust has bigger piping than my stock exhaust! It was not an easy job since the connection between the cat and the bpipe on my car is curvy but Gabe did a good job in a short time!
I would come back anytime for more mods and would of course recommend his place to my friends!

Gabriel is the man for your custom exhaust needs! I’m a pretty cheap guy so I bought a used HKS exhaust for my Toyota. The exhaust was in a car accident and the exhaust tip was all bent up but Gabriel bolted it up and aligned everything back up perfectly. Not only that but he made a beautiful midpipe to fit in between my downpipe and exhaust. My car is mid engined so everything is tight back there with not a lot of room to work. Gabriel was able to cut one piece of pipe and put like 4 different bends in different directions and it came out looking great! His 30+ years of experience really shines because he was fast, efficient and most off all the exhaust looks good. He did all of this custom work within an hour and he even kept his shop open late for me because I came in like 15 min before closing. At first I felt the price he quoted me was fair, but after I saw all the work he did and the quality of it, I definitely was under charged.
To summarize: great work and great prices!

Bottom line up front: Gabriel conducted his work professionally, exceeded quality expectations, and costs were well within reason.
Lengthy review… read if interested. Gabriel provided an awesome custom job to my exhaust system and I have recommended him to a few friends of mine. I’m extremely satisfied with the way my exhaust looks, sounds, and I still had money left over to eat the next few days, lol.
First impressions — Outstanding: I found Pro Mufflers & Brakes via Unilocal and decided to give it a try based on the locality and reviews. It being close to home, I decided to go with this place instead of a big corporate brand. I called and came by on a Thursday to ask questions and met a down-​to-​earth guy by the name of Gabriel. Upon arriving, Gabriel welcomed me, gave me a fist bump (since his hands were dirty and couldn’t accept a handshake), answered my questions, and conducted a car-​on-​the-​ground (not on the lift) inspection and asked me how I wanted my muffler work done. I wanted to do a muffler delete and I also wanted to provide my own muffler tips as I wanted a brushed steel exhaust tip instead of stainless steel. Gabriel was cool with it, recommended I keep on my resonator (in case the car got too loud), and provided me an estimate that was well below what I thought the cost would have been. I asked him if I could return at a later date when my Amazon-​ordered exhaust tips came in and he was more than happy to help when I was ready to come back. Before I left he offered me his business card and reassured me if I had any questions to give him a call.
Quality service — Excellent: Fast forward to the following Monday, I received my exhaust tips (chosen by size, color, shape, fitting, personal taste). I called Gabriel at about 8:14 to see if he was in and available. Gabriel remembered me and welcomed me in as he wasn’t too busy at that time. I got there at about 8:35 — 8:40 AM, and we did another inspection of my parts and the car to see what I wanted to do (for reassurance). Gabriel then got my car on the lift (didn’t drive too crazy like I’ve seen some mechanics in the past) and did an underbody inspection of the exhaust and mufflers with me. He communicated well with me to see what I wanted to do and to get the specifics on layout according to my preference. After planning was complete, he went to work, cut off my mufflers and original exhaust tips as one whole section, and we chatted here and there while he worked. With 30 years of experience under his belt, I felt more eased as he worked on my ’07 335i. Later in the operation, he called me over to verify the placement of the exhaust tips and to validate his centering. I didn’t have to do much as he was pretty much dead on with aligning the exhaust tips. Gabriel was very careful in the installation process and kept adjusting to my preferences. Once the exhaust tips were aligned, he used a stability bar to hold the exhaust pipes and tips as he welded my exhaust system together with ease. Gabriel then welded on a mounting bar on each exhaust tip (out of plain view) to hold up the pipe against the underbody of the car. Upon completion, the cosmetics looked real good. Muffler removal and custom re-​installation took less than an hour, even with Gabriel and I to stop and shoot the sh*t every now and then.
Sound test — Beautiful music to my ears!: Once welding was completed, Gabriel lowered my car and let me turn it on. A deep sound came about and brought smiles to angels everywhere, lol. He was right about leaving in the resonator. The exhaust sound is coming more from the rear and not loudly resonating inside the cabin of the vehicle (known as drone). Gabriel helped me place my muffler parts in my trunk. To do this, he took some of his own time to look for cardboard boxes to flatten and place them under the muffler as a mat (to prevent my trunk from getting dirty). After paying, I was out in the door in about less than an hour and a half.
Overall: I couldn’t be more happier. The sound is what I wanted and the service exceeded all my expectations. Honestly I was a bit worried going in, but I am now fully confident on recommending anyone to go to Gabriel for muffler work. He really strives to meet your needs and adds in his expertise for custom jobs. If I get pulled over for having «too loud» of an exhaust, I’ll be going back to Gabriel for more work: P

Driving down the road my car suddey stopped. Unilocaled a mechanic shop, this one was the closest. He explained what is wrong, what we need it fix. And less in than an hour my car was as good as before. Thanks Gabriel!

Been going to Gabe for many years now. Super honest guy and always willing to do the job right. He spent am extra 5 minutes just getting the exhaust tips level so they would look the absolute best. Doesn’t weld with cost hanger like many shops I’ve seen. it’s mig’d and looks great.
