Don’s Pest & Weed Control

I’ve been using Don’s for 2 years now, and my yard had been weed free. Now, it is Oklahoma, and the grass is always nasty unless you do some serious fertilizing along with the pest and weed control.
I have had a couple issues with Don’s coming out without notice, so i would say they need some improvement in that area.

Started out well enough for a couple of years and then went down hill quick. I kept calling and telling them I was getting weeds and they kept saying they would come back but never did. I got fed up and the next time they called to say they would be there the next day I said NO.
Now this is going to sound like I may be paranoid but, My whole front yard has exploded in weeds! I never had weeds like this and they just seem to come out of nowhere. None of my neighbors have weeds so it kind of makes me wonder…

Beware very shady! They sprayed only the front of my yard and never the back when we received the bill for the full service we said we would only paid for the front. they never called to take care of the bill… But a few months later we get a call that they are coming out, well I have dogs and a lock on the backyard gate, they always knock on the door to either let us know they are done not to let the dogs out or to please put the dogs in (we always unlock the gate before they get here) well they never showed up, so we were getting a bill for two full treatments and my husband went in twice and the lady said she was going to look into it and nothing finally I called and told them that I’m home all day and we wanted to take care of that on half spray can she please help? She said she would get back to me and never did I had to call back and a guy answered told him the whole story he said he had to talk to the the guys that came out and he would get back to me. This was back in October, I just called them a few weeks ago and the lady told me the boss said he drop us for not paying and because of the dogs, I told her I wanted to talk to him she said he wasn’t in I called again the next day and she was very rude I told her he was suppose to call us about the bill and why would he drop us because of the dogs and then she said oh no he is dropping you because of you gate! Wth?

Horrible customer service. They forgot to spray half my yard and told me for week and half they would come back. Finally got tired of the bull and went to office and asked for refund of all prepaid funds. Office lady got snappy and her boss said he would mail check. It was my first and last time using them. Be warned. Use a smaller mom and pop service. These people have to much work to cover.

The customer service at Don’s is lousy. They’re hard to reach. I had to call multiple times when their timing was off on our second treatment of the year. When I finally reached an office employee, she was short and rude and couldn’t give an approximate date for their next visit. Since timing of treatments is more than half the battle with lawn care, we decided to cancel their unreliable services. On top of everything, the office employee hung up on us when I called to cancel. Guess they don’t need new business.

Don’s has been spraying my yard for several years and it is weed free. I highly recommend their services.
