A friend picked up some super delicious cookies and some type of chocolate croissant. They were both super tasty and fresh. I did walk in and get a loaf of bread but wasn’t a fan. They cater to an artisanal crowd looking for different styles of breads and pastries.

Bad bakery. Products sit for hours at a time. The staff is friendly, the product comes up short…

The food items purchased were cold and not fresh. The owner, Haim was unapologetic and did not issue refund. Businesses like this are only hurting themselves with such business practices and policies.

Wonderful bakery! My boyfriend and I walked in for some bread one evening and we were delighted to find brownie samples at the counter. They were delicious and enticed us into buying desserts. We purchased a loaf of french bread, a cinnamon roll and one freshly baked chocolate chip cookie(it just came out of the oven!). All three were amazing! The french bread was baked perfectly, it had a nice crust, but was soft on the inside. The cinnamon roll was to die for! Lots of cinnamon, gooey deliciousness! And the chocolate chip cookie was both chewy on the inside and crusty on the outside, with plenty of chocolate chips. This place is definitely our favorite bakery in Midwood. The food is great and it is very affordable. I highly suggest checking it out.

I have been enjoying the muffins and sweets from here. My husband purchased a jam and said it was just ok. I bought the«Italian Challah» for Shabbos and it was hard, my husband felt uncomfortable using it for Shabbos as it was not quality. They did become good croutons for salad though! 3.5 stars

I love this place! The prices are higher than typical bread, but the bread is freshly baked on premises. It’s worth it! My favorite would have to be Apple Bread on Tuesdays. It’s really good!

My wife and I, along with our kids went to the Breadsmith on Avenue M yesterday. We were not happy with any of our purchases. 1) The chocolate chip cookies we got we hard, slightly soapy/burnt taste to them. My kids didnt care but we did. 2) Got some of the croûton bread and had a taste. Again, burnt and soapy taste to it. 3) We got a long loaf of bread. I completely forgot the name but its right near the window. It was almost as hard as a rock. It tasted semi-good but there is a lot better breads like that in the area, especially at Pomegranate and the new french restaurant/bakery both of them located a few blocks away on Coney Island Avenue The only good thing we got from them was some strawberry rhubarb jam and it isn’t even made by them, which is why it’s delicious. We will not be coming back to this business. There are plenty of terrific bakeries and supermarkets in the area that make fresh bread daily and have wonderful varieties and selections to go ahead and choose from.
