I have a degree in Electrical Engineering. Designed software to run the machines that make EverReady batteries. Learned computers and networking through daily use. Joined an IT consulting firm for 7 years before going out on my own. Started out writing custom software to solve automation needs of the clients. Over the years have migrated into networking, servers and voice-over-IP phone systems. Heavily into the use of server and desktop virtualization using VMware.
