AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

My car is a 2012 still under warranty etc. At 8400 miles I had transmission work done to my car and the car has not functioned properly since. I have been to the dealership numerous times over the past year due to transmission trouble. I am told the same «there are no service codes,» «this is normal» and the famous «cannot duplicate the problem.» The dealership really makes you feel like you are crazy! Finally I had enough and called AAMCO for diagnostic testing.
When I arrived I showed the paperwork (previous transmission repair) to the gentleman and explained to him the trouble I was having. He was not rude, he was not annoyed (what I am use to) he even took the time to explain what they (dealership) had previously done to my car. The tech was told that they could not do anything other than drive my car and hook it up for the testing (otherwise it would void my warranty). It wasn’t a problem.
After two days I was informed that indeed there are quite a few problems with my transmission. Although they obviously could not tell me exactly what is causing the trouble because it’s internally. They did have recommendations that I will be giving to the dealership. They were incredibly helpful, very thorough and extremely determined to try to diagnose what exactly was going on with my transmission.
I would absolutely recommend them to anyone having transmission issues.
