Absolutely one of the best bar/​restaurants in the area. Ray and Julie were great hosts over the years. I was sad to see them close.

Excellent service, very friendly. The people are very nice as well. Food is scrumptious and they have live music. The last time I was there they had Walt Andrus singing some swinging tunes. The bartenders (an ensemble of very cute very chatty and friendly girls) make the best drinks ever! Thanks for a great time.

Love, love, love their goat cheese and arugula salad (sometimes add on pan seared scallops — which is well worth the extra couple of dollars). Eggplant rollatini is awesome too.
If you are a steak lover you have to stop by on Tuesday night for the $ 12 rib-​eye special. It comes compete with mashed potatoes and a veggie side (usually delicious sauteed green beans or broccolini).

I will have to say I was somewhat disappointed when I ate here last night with my boyfriend and his family. They have a good deal going on Mon.-Thurs. that offers a three course meal for $ 16, but it is the chefs choice. Or you can pick your own four course for $ 25. I ended up going for the chefs choice for $ 16 bucks which for Thursday night it was shrimp scampi. The dish itself was not good at all. The pasta was cheap tasting and the sauce was extremely oily, and to top it off they gave me a whopping three shrimp for my pasta. The shrimp was chewy and in my pasta was actually a piece of a wrapper.
The salad was decent, I will say the dressing was very yummy, but their plates and dishes are heavy and unconventional. The bread basket was probably my favorite part of the night, they had this chive butter to put on top which was very good. The dessert choices were gelato or a shaved ice, I opted for the hazelnut gelato which was extremely good.
The ultimate reason why I am giving this place only three stars is because 1. the food was not up to par with the price and 2. the waitress was so inexperienced 3. and lastly because the place was sooooooo slow. It took us three hours to eat here! And it was a Thursday night with no crowd at all! Now the icing on top of this bad experience was that I had a $ 10 off
coupon and the waitress felt like arguing with us as to why we cannot use it. Our bill totaled $ 160 for five people and this lady would not allow us to use this coupon, so after arguing with her for a good five minutes we ended up calling the manager over and without hesitation he did it for us.
Just all in all a disappointment because I had heard from friends how yummy this place was. The food was just ok to me. The service was sloooooooooow. And the arguing over $ 10 off was the last straw. I don’t know if I will come back here, although I do have another $ 10 buck off coupon, I am not sure if the 3hrs. of my life and arguing is worth it.

The food here is delicious! The service is excellent as well. Our waiter was very prompt & courteous. It’s a fun & comfortable setting. Prices are moderate (great tasting food is worth it) Love the menu! Would definately go back again!
