Unfortunately service was poor. We were there on Friday, April 17th and was somewhat busy but not full. Seated promptly near the kitchen. We ordered a bowl of chili, bread sticks and a deep dish pizza along with sodas Drinks, chili and bread sticks brought out promptly but the chili was luke warm. We sent it back. Brought back out a few minutes later only for it to be taken right away by the server before we could even check it because she felt it was still not hot enough. Came back out a few minutes later and then we ordered another round of bread sticks. Little did we know that the server would not be seen again for almost 15 minutes allow we saw every other server go by(we were near the kitchen) at least 6 times. We finally flagged down someone else for new drinks but never got the breadsticks. Finally the server appeared as she was having«trouble» entering an order or fixing up several that were wrong. Not a good experience. Pizza was ok but not worth $ 20 for a small one topping. Bread sticks were good, chili was ok but since we had to wait so long for refills, it got cold again so we didn’t finish it.

Salmon was over cooked and dry. Chicken and broccoli Alfredo tasted like a frozen TV dinner. Way overpriced for the service and food quality. $ 50 for two people to eat when I could’ve gotten a better meal for $ 30 at other chains. Do NOT recommend.

Went to this place the other day and enjoyed it. During the NFL playoffs they’re doing 50 cent wings, ½ price apps and 5 dollar drafts and drink specials. Pretty good deals and the food was pretty good.

I love this restaurant. All their food is professionally made and tastes great. I really respect how they have a big gluten free menu. I got the Chicken Spinoccoli and I was super happy. Great job Uno’s!

Just stopped in to have a refreshment. Had a great milkshake and hubby had a blue moon … The atmosphere was fun and the bartender, Steph was very cool! When I come back around this area … I will grab some grub.

Great service and fun cocktails. The food is okay, nothing too special, but the service and friendly staff always keep us coming back :)

Absolutely love this place. The staff is always extremely friendly and attentive, the food is awesome(never had a problem with it), and every experience I’ve had here has been enjoyable. The one time I ever had an issue – I asked for no caramelized onions on a pizza and it came out with onions on it – the manager came out, apologized, and they made me a new pizza as quickly as possible(and even gave me a discount for my trouble). Overall, an extremely relaxing and fun environment, and the staff is always outstanding and professional.

had a fabulous meal here on the way home from a yankees game. boyfriend and i sat at the bar. tap offerings were plentiful, and he went with dos equis. i was in the mood for a cocktail, so i had a tall absolut peach with seltzer, splash of sprite, and a lime. drinks were expertly executed by christina, who was wonderfully friendly and funny. she was awesome, and our service was excellent. we ordered the shrimp & crab dip to share, as well as a sausage pizza. i also added a caesar salad. first off– salad dressing is served on the side(which i enjoyed) and is somewhere between classic caesar, and a caesar vinaigrette. it was garlickly, tart, and delicious. croutons were hearty, crisp, and flavorful. i was quite pleased. dip was served bubbly, crusted, and super hot. so hot i had to warn the boyfriend to wait a bit, so as not to burn his tongue.(he listened, but burned it anyway– it’s that hot!) the garlic toasts with which it was served were perfectly crispy, and an excellent foil to the creaminess of the dip. the flavor was very good, and the portion healthy. i would definitely order again. in fact, after ½ my salad, and 1⁄3 of the dip– i was full. but there was pizza! our sausage pie came on uno’s traditional deep dish crust. so crispy on the bottom, and then chewy and accommodating to the amount of toppings. pizza was absolutely yummy, and perfectly executed. overall– we had an incredible experience, both due to the food, and our excellent service at the bar. next time we attend a game, we will plan on stopping by.

If you want deep dish pizza, and you’re not in Chicago, then you have to go to Uno’s. Decided to come here on a Tuesday night and was immediately seated. Of course you have to order the deep dish pizza, but they also have plenty of other great dishes to choose from, including many pasta dishes and other meat/seafood dishes. I was surprised to learn that the deep dish pizza would be prepared and serve in under 20 minutes. Also, one of their big things is that they have a gluten free menu, so definitely a good place to pick if you need to be aware of that sort of thing. Currently they have a special menu that offers about 10 different dishes for only $ 6 each. It seems like a great deal, but the portions are also smaller than I expected for the price… But there’s also an option of adding a dessert for $ 2.49, so it’s a great way to have a little bit of something sweet to top off your meal.

I’ve had deep dish pizza before in Chicago more than a decade ago… I remember it being good, but being from New Haven the deep thick crust comes second to the thin brick oven baked ones that I am accustomed to. However, when I do want to mix it up my husband and I will go to the closest deep dish pizza place in Connecticut… Uno’s. I am usually drawn to the chicken spinoccoli pasta — broccoli and spinach stuffed chicken breast with penne pasta and a creamy Alfredo-like sauce. As for the pizza itself, it is a heartier and a little more greasier than the usual, but something about the crisp buttery crust makes the visit memorable. Our experience at this restaurant has been pleasant. The waitstaff were attentive, and we did not wait too long for our food– very important. It is a chain restaurant, but not overly commercialized like others out there which makes it a little more appealing to me. From what I’ve seen they’ve stepped up the menu with gluten free options. I’m usually adventurous but I often stick to my ‘faves’ when I go to UNOs. Why mess up a great thing?

Staff is awesome. Great value; they actually stock a few craft beers now which is a plus. Good as far as chain restaurants go.

So I had been to Uno’s many years ago, and not liked it at all, but recently traveling we stopped at one, and I became a fan of this little chain, we love our pizza growing up so close to New Haven & East Haven(pizza capitals) I mean we decide based on which place has the best topping that we want that night lol, b/c there are that many good pizza places near us. But this place is super kid friendly now, and has added so many items to their menu that I have to give it props. Kids LOVE the make your own pizza option, and mom & dad love the apps, and the food choices, and the soups, can’t go wrong, and if you join their EClub I’m always going in w/a coupon Yay!

The last time I was here was god knows when… I think it was the first and last time I was there. And honestly, I think I maybe have gone to an Uno in Canada, go figure. So my hubby and I were jonesing for something after his class in New Haven and decided to hit the strip. We were aiming for hooters(I have never been) but landed just shy of there since my husband discovered there’s all you can eat wings on tues and thurs(alas we shall be going there one faithful tues or thurs in the foreseeable future!). I have to say that for a chain, I was pleasantly surprised. The food came out quickly and was good. We ordered the avocado eggrolls, the pizza skins, a bacon burger and a deep dish pizza. The pizza skins were great! The avocado eggrolls were good as well(my husband liked them with the peanut cashew sauce for dipping) but I wasn’t as big a fan as I am of other avocado rolls. He got the burger and the fries were the type that I love but never find anywhere… the kind that are crispy with this kind of flaky outside. SOGOOD! I got a deep dish with onions, spinach and chicken. It was great and I should have taken a second home with me haha. Service was good and the lemonades I got to drink were good but weren’t garnished. Usually if you get fun lemonades at like applebees or ruby tuesday or something, they do a fun garnish on the glass or something floating in the drink. This was just ice and lemonade, oh well. We’ll definitely be back at some point.

I have no idea why the low rating for this place. This is hands down the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. They have both deep dish and thin crust so there is something for everyone. Personally I recommend the deep dish but I also love the thin crust. They used to have a location at Westfarms mall where I went almost every single weekend in high school so I have *literally* tried almost every single item on the menu. Now they only have this Milford location which is an hour away from where I stay in CT, so I don’t make it out as often as I’d like to, which is a shame because it really is worth the drive. Broccoli and cheese soup is to die for. They also have great pasta and their veggie burger is good. The ceaser salad is one of my favorites at any restaurant. The peanut butter cup desert is AMAZING — hint — get the big one, not the little one — the little one is a rip off because it’s teeny tiny and you only get a bite. Even if you are dining alone, get the big one, you won’t regret it. The spinnocoli pizza is hands down the best thing on the menu, from someone who has tried everything. But I have never had anything I didn’t like on the menu. Drinks are also good and strong. Prices are average for this kind of establishment but they frequently send out email coupons including buy one get one free if you join their e-club so you can dine here very cheaply if you take advantage of the coupons. They also have a 2 for 20 carryout special(but you have to come pick it up).

Very good CHICAGO style pizza, that is Deep Dish. Not what people are used to in Connecticut. It’s not going to be the same as Sally’s, or Pepe’s, or Modern. It’s a completely different style. And Uno’s does it as well as anyone in the business. The other items on the menu vary from pretty good to very good(their hamburger is excellent). Uno’s also tries to offer healthy options for those so inclined. I would recommend this restaurant for those looking for moderately priced meals with a varied menu that almost anyone in the family could find something that they like.

Great pizza! Hot, deep, delicious! The hell with the negative reviewer who thinks he is funny. He is not– and he is wrong. They have great deep dish pizza at Uno Chicago. And the service is top notch. I have been twice, and will continue to go. Excellent!

I’ll admit it… I’m a sucker for this place. The drinks are good, the burgers are always perfectly cooked, and the appetizers are ginormous. Oh wait… this is a pizza place? Well, I’ve only ever had a bite of the boy’s.and it’s tasty. Not New Haven tasty(duh) but good. I have had the mashed potato pizza appetizer thingy.yummmmmm. I could eat one myself… but that would be greedy, right? So tasty – we always split one when we go! Last time I had that, the sliders(perfect!) and a long island… it was a good night. Decent chain restaurant… I enjoy it more than Friday’s(although Fridays’ happy hour is pretty good) and Chili(blah) combined!
