Seeing a new doctor can be pretty overwhelming. Dr. Gardner and her wonderful staff made my first appointment there super comfortable — and actually, dare I say it — easy.
The ladies up front gave me the prerequisite paperwork to fill out — they are sweet, friendly and super efficient. I didn’t have to wait long at all before Dr. Gardner came in to see me. She was incredibly thorough — answered all my questions, walked me through every step of her exam. Annuals are never pleasant, but Dr. Gardner is gentle and makes you feel comfortable immediately. Her 30+ years of experience are evident — I would recommend her to my friends in a heartbeat.
After my exam, we moved into her office, where we sat and discussed my family health history, steps I can take to improve my health (the obvious — less sun, less alcohol, more vitamins, etc.) I felt very well cared for and not a bit rushed by the Doctor or her staff.
A couple of weeks later, I had x-​rays that needed to be sent over from LA, and Dr. Gardner’s staff handled everything. I got such a personalized experience and after just a few phone calls, the ladies even recognize my voice. I never had care like this in California! What a pleasant change.
Dr. Gardner’s office is located in the Town Center of Mililani shopping plaza, near the movie theater. There’s plenty of free parking, restaurants and even a Long’s if you need to pick up a prescription, which is pretty handy. The office accepts HMSA.
