Carol was the best counselor I’ve ever had. I highly recommend her. She is very personable, sincere, and wants to help her patients. Love her!

In our attempts to find some counseling, my business partner and I reached out to Mill Creek Family Services to inquire about assistance in sorting out some details. The front desk receptionist was very nice, initially. We found a counselor, or so we thought; receiving confirmation emails AND phone confirmation calls 2 days prior.
And then we showed up at 1:50 p.m. for our 2:00 p.m. appointment. We sat in the waiting area where we were instructed to wait, and patiently waited for our counselor to come out and get us. Where we waited… and waited… and waited.
Finally, in sheer frustration I emailed Christine, who I had been talking to for a few months about our appointment. I also called the operator (whoever answer the phone — which, actually, no one ever answers the phone, they only return voicemails) and called Irini, whom we were suppose to have met with.
Finally, after sitting in the waiting room for AN HOUR, Christine FINALLY walked out of one of the rooms and says, «I’m sorry, but I completely misbooked you. Irini isn’t accepting new clients.» Meaning that, our appointment wasn’t happening; ever! I sat there, dumbfounded, as my concern wasn’t that she miscommunicated, it was that they waited until we had been waiting in the lobby for over an hour to explain this to us.
First of all, as a business owner, I would be appalled if a client had been waiting without ANYONE acknowledging them for over an hour; second, I would NEVER wait until AFTER an appointment to inform the clients that they had wasted their time.
Christine claimed to have been sorry; however, she did not look nor sound apologetic. She was grossly misinformed, thus resulting in our wasted time. She didn’t bother calling either of us this morning, or even last week. We could have saved the 30 minute drive to the office and the hour we sat there expecting to sit down with Irini before ANYONE decided to communicate with us. This has been one of THE WORST «professional» offices I have ever been to, and will be the last time I will visit. This office ultimately has the worst communication and customer services I have ever had. No wonder the walls, furniture and décor are old and run down; this office is clearly not making enough money to update their office or pay for quality employees because they obviously do not know how to handle customers; or even communicate.
In a day with modern electronics and various ways of contacting people, I find it appalling that this business couldn’t find the time to CALL, TEXT, or EMAIL us to let us know what the problem was.

I’ve been seeing Chuck Bartlett for over 6 years now and have had nothing but kindness and understanding from him.
Mill Creek Family Services has done an excellent job at providing me with a therapist who is easy to talk to and, most important to me, someone who won’t judge me for my actions.
Chuck steps in when he feels it’s necessary and listens when I need to talk. Without getting into my life story, I can say that Chuck has played a pivotal role in my life and I wouldn’t have the quality of happiness that I do today without him.

I’d like to find out the true quality of Mill Creek Family Services, but they never answer the phone! I’ve tried calling multiple times on different dates and times and am unable to get ahold of anyone. Every other medical office I’ve called puts you on hold until someone is available to answer the call but they don’t…just goes to message. Add a on hold feature please or hire more staff to answer the phones!

I have had nothing but great experiences at Mill Creek Family Services. The Counselors are caring, considerate and very professional. The atmosphere in the office is relaxing and private which is a huge plus in my opinion. I would highly recommend Mill Creek Family Services to anyone.

My 9 year old son has been seeing Chuck Bartlett weekly for nearly two months now. While he is not quite on the ADHD scale, he has struggled for years in school with impulse control issues. There have been amazing results. My son is learning so much about how to handle his impulsiveness and he LOVES his weekly visits with Chuck.
Unlike a previous review, we have never experienced an issue with Chuck. He is always kind, courteous, and prompt.

I highly recommend Chuck for counseling services. Not only has he been great getting to know me (listening to what was important to me) and helping me he has provided me with tools & strategies to use and directions in how to use them. When a new issue comes up he is able to incorporate it & give me perspective and a new strategy or way to deal with it. He is easy to talk to, personable & highly capable. He is knowledgeable and a man of the word. He is an encourager, listener & problem solver.

You will not find a more caring, compassionate, thoughtful, dedicated team of therapists than at Mill Creek Family Services. I have known the owner of MCFS, Ken Urie, for a number of years, and have been continually impressed by his mission to engender a therapeutic environment that truly supports both the therapists working there and, most importantly, the clients that they serve.

We’ve unfortunately had nothing but bad experiences here. First we had made an appointment for my son who has ADHD with Chuck Bartlett. I was called by Chuck on the day of our appointment at 1pm and was told that he needed us there at 2pm because he had several cancellations for the day. I explained to him that I was unable to make that happen as my day was full and that we would be there for our appointment at 5pm. He then very rudely told me that he «didn’t feel like waiting around all afternoon so you will have to just reschedule for a later date!» He continued to be rude throughout the rest of the conversation which is when told him we would seek help from someone else as his behavior was unacceptable. I was absolutely dumbfounded that a healthcare professional who works with children would act in such a way. Apparently he felt the need to take out his aggression on us from the people who cancelled.
After speaking the Ken Urie (the owner) about the situation, he agreed that behavior was not even remotely ok and set us up with another therapist, Megan Boyle. We set an appointment up with her and tried to forget about the horrendous behavior from Chuck. For our first appointment Megan was 15 minutes late, no big deal, it happens but no sorry I’m late, no explanation, nothing. The appointment went fairly well so we scheduled two more appointments. She told us that she would make the appointment for 6pm but if we could to show up early so she could get us in closer to 5:45 that would be better. We showed up last night at 5:45 and waited and waited… 6:15 pm rolls around so I give her a call. No answer so I left a message just letting her know we were there and were hoping that she would be there soon. Then 6:20 pm rolls around and another therapist came in. I ask if she knows where Megan is and she has no clue and offers no help. Finally we leave at about 6:30 pm after no word from anyone about this no show. I email the owner again and am provided with absolutely no explanation what-​so-​ever just more lip service like we after our experience with Chuck.
After these experiences, I am left with feeling sad and disappointed that these are the people that are suppose to work with children with mental health issues. I would absolutely not waste your time or put your child through this type of treatment. We will not be back to this disgraceful facility and will be spreading the word about how we were treated!
