Dr. Fedrigo is really nice. I went to see him because there was a bump on the top of my foot. He spent a lot of time examining my foot and explaining to me what the condition is. He also answered all my questions patiently. I was able to seen on the same day. Also, the treatment he gave to me really worked. The bump was gone in one week after the treatment! And his receptionist was really friendly too=)

I have seen Dr. Fedrigo on two separate occasions for different problems with my feet. Both times he suggested cortisone shots. The first time, when I had an inflamed ligament on the ball of my foot, I went along with it. Holy cow, it was absolutely excruciating, AND I really didn’t feel much in the way of benefits. He also fitted my shoe with some pads to correctly position my foot and let the aggravated area heal. After several months of sticking with that, I was better. About 5 years later, there I was again with ANOTHER problem, a possible hairline fracture at the top of my foot. It was impossible for an x-ray to rule it out, and yet again, his first suggestion was a cortisone shot. No thanks, I said. He also suggested wearing sturdier shoes. Well, I took him up on the latter suggestion, but ended up going to a highly respected orthopedist in the city, who has an MRI machine and was therefore able to correctly diagnose a pre-stress fracture, and who NEVER suggested cortisone. I’m now looking for a new podiatrist to handle what I think is a broken toe, and there’s no way I’m going back to Dr. Fedrigo.
