History

Established in 1998.

Went from working as a Environmental Consultant in Marin County to Phantom Screens Distributor. We wanted to promote passive cooling and help people reduce their energy cost while being aesthetically pleasing. Phantom Screens was the answer. We also specialize in motorization of Phantom Screens so we added Insolroll Shades and Sunesta Awnings. NOW we are your screening and shading solution company and can offer all of our products with motorization systems. We service Marin and San Francisco County for Phantom Screens and the Bay Area for Insolroll and Sunesta. Our goal is to help San Francisco with their quest for net zero energy cost. Our motto is, «Living Green with High-​Tech Shades & Screens».

Business Owner

Rick has been in the bay area his entire life. His quest for helping our environment lead him to a BA in Environmental Studies with a Groundwater Hydrology minor. His life dream was owning his own business. After 20 successful years working in Environmental Consulting he took the opportunity to start his own business with Phantom Screens. Phantom Screens was a perfect business because Phantom Screens promotes using passive cooling and natural ventilation. San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and we want the architecture of the buildings to remain beautiful with Phantom Screens. Rick’s goal is to help San Francisco meet their goal of «Net-​Zero Energy Cost».
