Business Owner

Richardson Architects, established in 1984, is a woman-​owned architectural firm providing design and management of residential, commercial, and institutional projects throughout the Bay Area. Based in Mill Valley, the firm consists of four full time staff under the leadership of Heidi Richardson.

The firm was founded on the premise that as architects we can enhance the natural and built environment through inspiring, contextual, environmentally sensitive architecture. We believe in creating the most appropriate design solutions for each of our clients; appropriate not only in terms of place and site but just as importantly in terms of budget and schedule. It is our goal that our final built projects be timeless for our clients and connect clearly and thoughtfully to the broader built and natural environment.
