I’m a fan of your business and you have good customer service, but your website is horrible. Way too difficult to navigate. I wanted to look at sofas— and I have to click on each manufacturer? And then find that some don’t even carry sofas? It’s really an annoying way to have to search… 1 minutes I was gone. Poor web architecture = Misses sales.

This is my one stop shop for all my furniture needs. I love my custom couch, the tv stand, dining table, center table and bed with mattress. The store is conveniently located on El Camino and the owners are willing to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction.

Buyer beware. I paid $ 5,400 Sub-​zero undercounter refrigeration unit. The installers they recommended, AIS, installed it incorrectly and left fingerprints all over the unit — and charged $ 495, $ 75 more than the quote on the date of install. I subsequently ordered a second unit from BSC Culinary and the service was amazing! Try BSC Culinary instead.

Where to begin. Millbrae Furniture and crew are very customer oriented and give top notch service, from the Salesmen, to the Delivery Guys, to their Back Office staff. After trying Giorgi Bros (see my review on them) and receiving terrible service, we went to Unilocal to find a local quality furniture store with real-​wood furniture and salesman that aren’t aggressive! Millbrae Furniture makes you feel like family. We have since purchased a bedroom set, kitchen set, family room needs and the latest are bookcases. We have found our go to place. I know they’ll have our trust for years to come! Keep up the good work! See you again soon.

When my husband and I moved to Millbrae, we needed new blinds for our windows. We had the windows professionally measured and the blinds delivered within a week or two. The prices are competitive and their product is fantastic.
When my two girls started growing out of their cribs, we went to Millbrae Furniture for twin beds. We found beautiful wood frames and mattresses for our two little girls. We’re delighted with the twin beds– and what’s even cooler? one day we’ll be able to convert them into bunk beds.

We sold our furniture before moving across the country. We desperately needed a couch in our new home after sitting on lawn chairs for weeks. Crate and Barrel was too costly, Cr8te-​a-​couch in Burlingame sounded awesome, but again, too costly. Then a friend recommended Millbrae Furniture. We were impressed. After finding a couch on the floor we liked, we then discovered the many available color options. We picked our color and were pleasantly surprised to learn delivery would only take 4 weeks. Amazing! Everyone was very helpful and the couch came when expected. We have since returned to purchase an area rug. Great service and great prices!

We purchased bedroom furniture for my daughter and just received it. The entire experience from picking out what we wanted to the delivery was superb! If you don’t see what you like in the showroom, there are many many choices in the catalogues. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the furniture is great. The owner Larry is very easy to work with and made the process so easy for us because he knew exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back to furnish other areas of our home.

Went there today look for a furniture piece. When I got in the store it was empty, yet not one person came up to help me. When they did it was like I was bothering them. They acting very rude and didn’t seem to want to help. Looked at somethings and then said just go on our web and look. I won’t go back there again or buy anything from them. It was not a nice experience. They need training in customer care.

They would have earned 5 stars with a little more communications after the ordering process. But totally recommend them. We have a very odd space we needed to put a customer sized sofa into. After going to several places that wanted over 5 grand and nearly 4 grand we went there and got a quote for $ 1950. The other furniture stores told me «watch out they are going to be made of paper» but that was far from it. We got a very nice customer sized sofa that fits our space prefectly for a good price. We’re doing another sofa soon and I will be back for that one.

They’re conveniently located and have good hours and a nice selection of appliances. Their shortfall is service: they over-​promise, under-​deliver and don’t communicate as they say they will. But then, service is not a strength at most places I’ve shopped so they are the norm.

Larry and his team were instrumental in averting a catastrophe at my 90-​year-​old parents home last weekend. I arrived at their homeThursday night to help out for the weekend, an I poured myself an icy glass of Chardonnay, and was surprised when it was barely chilled. A check in the freezer revealed softened icecream goo dripping down the shelves, and at the same time my toes were getting soaked. Could their 15-​year-​old Kenmore be on its last legs? I knew this would be stressful for my folks, worrying what would happen to their stockpile of food. As it was after 6 PM, I jumped on my i-​pad, hoping to arrange a same day delivery the following morning. A call to Home Depot was not fruitful. My dad was more concerned than I realized, as he woke me at 2 AM and ordered me to go to Safeway and get some dry ice, which I dutifully did.
Friday morning I was on the phone when the local appliance stores opened, and was lucky to get Larry to help me. I gave him measurements and finishes and a price range. After checking stock, he had just what we needed and he could deliver it by noon… and we were 20 miles away! He even offered a temporary fridge if he didn’t have the model we needed, then would switch it out later. Josh and Kevin, the installers, were punctual and coureous, and even found the shutoff downstairs for the icemaker. They were in and out in a half hour. Price was not my utmost concern at the time, but after checking prices following installation, Larry’s price was in line with the big box stores. Will use them for all our appliance needs going forward!

Anyone who has not shopped at Millbrae Furniture, they are paying too much! When we moved from SF to the Peninsula Area, my parents recommended the store and since then we have been buying most of our furniture and applianced through them. After shopping around, we often found ourselves going back to this store because they can always beat any price any where. They’ve been around at least 60 years or more. If you go there, ask for Don. He is the owner and is very knowledgeable and knows his trade real well. We do not have any hesitation recommending Millbrae Furniture to all our friends and relatives.

Very good people and amazing service. Don helped me buy an entire kitchen and offered great advice, amazing services, and competitive prices. It’s nice that I can buy from a family business versus a big box store that offers no customer service.

Over the past ten years, I’ve purchased several household items at Millbrae Furniture. Carpet, Doll Houses, Mattresses, sofas etc and have had excellent service and value. They have a great supply of Furniture and appliances, are very knowledgeable with products they sell. Great non-​pushy environment. If they don’t have what you would like, they can get it and are customer oriented.
