Ryan Scott 2 Go

Ryan Scott 2 Go catered our rehearsal dinner. They delivered the food to our house and up the stairs promptly and in an organized manner. The presentation was perfect for our event. We had various small bites and some more hearty small sandwiches. The fried chicken sandwiches, and the salmon sandwiches were incredible. Ryan’s team also put together some bite-​size, individually «spooned», appetizers which were awesome. Even though we ordered waaaay too much food for the 45 people that attended, everyone loved everything so much that it was almost all eaten by the end of the event.
I would not even hesitate to use Ryan’s team for any event!

On several occasions I have used Ryan Scott 2 Go to cater our company luncheons. We have used them for groups of 50 to 800. They are pleasant to work with, and their food is delicious.
Down below is the menu for today’s lunch. I was really surprised by the variety of dishes that were offered and the quality of the dishes.
Chef Ryan was personally onsite to ensure a smooth service, and took the time to explain the dishes to our employees.
Everyone raved about how much the enjoyed the food!

I’m not sure where these guys get their cooks from, but it definitely is horrible to say the least. The food sometimes feel like leftovers from yesterday, or a chef who has absolutely no idea what to cook and cooks some random leftover ingredients.
Today’s menu item: Early Spring Pasta-​Free Lasagna (Zucchini, Asparagus, Chicken Sausage, Basil Pesto & Ricotta). What’s this? A green mushy dish? That’s because it looks just like that.
Absolutely horrible. I won’t pay for such crap.

My company gets catered lunches from this place.
Overall, I’d say the food is bad. And pretty unhealthy. When the food is done, the trays are left with a pool of oil. I thought that you couldn’t make salt and grease taste bad but I was wrong.
Also: We’re in San Francisco. Leverage what we’ve got going for us: Awesome fresh produce. What do we get instead? A pretty consistent brown sauce with some kind of solids floating in it.
I would generally prefer simpler, more delicious food than so-​called «gourmet» food executed terribly.
What else? I don’t think the meals are paired very well. Each day we get four or so courses. Today, three of the five courses were effectively «cake». Cookies, banana bread, and french toast.
So yeah, I wouldn’t pay for this stuff, but it’s free, so I shove it in my piehole every day anyways.

I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Ryan Scott at our recent company summer party. He and his staff served up a most delicious BBQ buffet lunch perfect for a group of 50 Zendesk employees after a game of soccer at Golden Gate park.

— Ryan’s version of mac and cheese
— homemade potato chips with bacon and sea salt
Everything was super delicious! Oh and who doesn’t like it when the chef pours shots for everyone, even for the company pug!
I highly recommend him for your next catered party!
