Diamond Institute for Infertility and Menopause

Reviewing based on my two experiences have not started the fertility treatment yet.
Had my x-​ray at the center everyone made me feel comfortable during the process only had to wait in the waiting room maybe ¹⁵⁄₂₀ minutes.
Went for my infertility consultation. Dr. O explained everything to you and answers all questions while making you feel extremely comfortable and even laughing a little bit. Tiffany my RN case manager was wonderful explained everything in detail for the appointments to come. Also felt comfortable with her joking around making this hard situation more comfortable. Will hopefully be pregnant this month so I don’t have to start the treatment but I feel very comfortable with the facility if treatment is needed.
Facility looks old and can use some updating it isn’t what I expected it to look like would’ve pictured it to be more welcoming other than that had a good experience !
*** update: had a procedure at this center and the recovery nurse Jennifer was amazing; made you feel very comfortable before and after procedure. The anesthesiologist was also great came to meet with me and was very informative and compassionate.
Still would recommend to others… In process of IVF treatment ;)

Having a baby with the help of a fertility clinic is not an easy journey. That’s why I’m so happy and thankful to have the Diamond Institute with us on our journey.
This clinic has a great facility with state of the art equipment, but above all we were introduced to the best staff I could hope for. Everyone we met, the receptionists, the nurses, and of course our doctors Dr O and Dr Yemini took amazing care of us. They gave us the feeling that they truly care, and the treatment we received was perfect.
I couldn’t ask for a better experience!

I am hoping this post helps other couples as they select a Fertility Clinic. Its a very stressful time and I wish I had done more in depth research about other area options before starting the process with Diamond. I naively took my OBGYN recommendation for granted and after completing the diagnostic tests transferred to other experts in the area before actually going through IVF. Below is a list of reasons why we choose to move; but to summarize, they did not instill confidence in us and came across as sloppy and rude. There are more professional and highly regarded clinics so I suggest you explore before selecting.
*LONG wait times. Average of 45min even with early AM appointments (our new clinic is open call so no waiting).
*Rude front desk people. They made us feel like we were bothering them we setting up appointments.
*Lack of accountability across the staff. We were told we weren’t covered by insurance and after doing my own research I discovered we were. I was also stressed out because I was running the process to ensure things were smooth. There is poor communication across teams so I didn’t feel confident that the IVF would be a success.
*I would have to proactively call to understand test results – my new clinic calls that day.
*Poor success rates vs. other clinics — in fact, stats are not even listed on their website!
*The doctor didn’t seem familiar with our case and would be reading our results as we were meeting which made me feel they weren’t on top of their client’s situations.
*The new clinic uncovered I have low egg counts which was not noticed or discussed at Diamond.
*I had an abnormal ultrasound and the bed side manner from the doctor was concerning.
*When we finally decided to leave, they were slow to reimburse us money which took 6wks and several phone calls/​emails.
*When we transferred our stored sperm, the staff forgot the top of the canister and chased me out the door. It also took several days for Diamond to facilitate the paperwork associated with the transfer.
My advice is to do your research before starting with Diamond. Good Luck!

I went there for two tries and both tries were unsuccessful and I really wasn’t given a reason why it didn’t work… I wish I would have did my research first. I lost a lot of money… I should have checked to see how successful they were at getting women to conceive and have a healthy bady… I’m so hurt and angry at the time and money I lost there… my suggestion to anyone always research before you put your baby making future in their hands. I do not recommend this place

IUI was not thoroughly explained to us in the beginning. It wasn’t until the day before my scheduled insemination that I was informed I had too many follicles and should skip the cycle because I had a chance of becoming pregnant with multiples. Why did I not know this before I began the IUI? I went ahead with the cycle anyway because I had put so much time and effort into it. Subsequently, I became pregnant with triplets

This place is awful! They are rude (all but one), and they don’t return phone calls. I left there not knowing what the next step was bc they are very unclear and the doctor had such a thick accent, I couldn’t understand him. Stay away!

I do not recommend this place. Had an HSG and sono done here after meeting with the doctor for a consult. The HSG was awful! Worst pain I’ve felt! The nurse and doctor had I bedside manners at all. I was told by the doctor who did both tests that my tubes looked ok. It that I had an Arcuate uterus, and normal small follicles on ovaries. When he discussed the tests he said I would probably not get pregnant with the shape of my uterus but ivf would work. The second doctor at the same practice had a consult with me a couple weeks later and he said your tubes are blocked, something is wrong with them, you have cystic ovaries, I don’t think you are ovulating and need ivf to get pregnant. I told what the other doctor said and he said no that’s not right. He sacred us away for trying less invasive treatments first by saying you shouldnt do clomid because it will greatly increase your risk of multiples, and multiples are too risky, and since you have bad tubes you could have an ectopic. So he sat there like a car salesman and said so what’s it go a be? If you want to do Ivf I need to know so I can put you in the schedule! Like we couldn’t even think about it. I also asked if we could check to see if I’m ovulating and he said no, there is no way to know lol.
I went for a second opinion and they gave me a hard time about getting my records. Charged me $ 1 per page and gave me at least 10 duplicate pages that I had to pay for. Never have I had to pay for a copy of my records.
I went for a second opinion. My tubes are totally fine, the HSG was not at all painful because the doctor did not use the barbaric techniques they used. And my new does not see any reason why clomid shouldn’t work. She said with monitoring the risk of multiples is only slightly higher then the general population. She is monitoring my ovulation and I am so much happier with this place.
So why do you think they were pushing me for ivf? BECAUSE MY INSURANCE COVERS IT! THEY MENTIONED MULTIPLE TIME WELL YOUR COVERED SO WHY NOT JUST DO IT AND YOU HAVE SUCH GREAT INSURANCE YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! Sorry but I don’t want to do ivf just to do it.

Be prepared to wait 30 – 60 minutes to be seen every single time. They are completely disorganized.

Great center. Doctors have great knowledge and experience and Dr. O. Is a rare fund!
They don’t give up on you here and treat you like a reason, not a number.

I went to The Diamond Institute for a Sonohystogram and an HSG after a year of dealing with infertility issues. At the end of my visit, a doctor took me into a room and told me that I had a «T Shaped Uterus». She said I would be likely to miscarry later on in my pregnancies and that I would most likely HAVE multiple miscarriages. I was a MESS after hearing this for 3 months before finally going to get a second opinion. The second clinic determined I did not have a T-​shape uterus after an easy 3D ultrasound, and instead diagnosed me CORRECTLY with a Septate Uterus which they cleared up with a surgery. 6 months later, I’m pregnant, which I would never be if I still had a septate uterus (and thought it was a T Shape) because it took up my entire uterine cavity. I would get a second opinion if you choose to go here.
