I have worked with Dr. Ha, have been her patient and have also referred people to her. She is a wonderful dentist who will go out of her way for patient satisfaction and accuracy. She has a high set of standards and strives on a daily basis to achieve it. Dr. Ha’s pleasant and homely dental practice makes you feel at ease and definitely brings the apprehension to a minimum. The staff is thorough and everyone in the office works like a well oiled machine. The hygienists are experienced and know their job. The receptionist Emma, is warm and friendly and never keeps you waiting. No wonder Dr. Ha still has patients who have been with her for more than 20 years.

If you have great teeth, I would recommend Dr. Ha’s office. Her office is clean and high tech. The staff is friendly and Dr. Ha appears to be meticulous. My experience was quite different from this. I have had a considerable amount of dental work prior to Dr. Ha’s office. First. I have had better cleanings. My teeth never felt incredibly clean after and still had the typical surface stains that my pervious hygienist was able to remove(I drink tea through a straw but it still happens). Second, my interactions with Dr. Ha are the most painful part of the visit. Her appointments run longer than usual. It is a combination of her working very slowly(maybe it’s perfectionism) and talking extensively about herself. I have had a few fillings replaced. Each time I am there she lectures me for at least fifteen minutes about where she came from, her ethical obligations, and how sad it is that I am a youngish person with dental work. The first time, I politely listened, but from then on I grew pretty tired of it. I can’t help the work that I have had done over the years. I do my best to take care of my teeth now and bring my sonicare, water pick, and retainer to every visit. I would rather have an individual tell me what they think I could be doing better or figure out the root of the problem. Third, Dr. Ha told me that I needed a root canal and basically said that she would not do the filling/crown unless I went to the endodontist she recommended. Seemed shady. Fourth, Elaine is amazing. She is a dental assistant in the office. She always made me feel at ease. Fifth, I do not have dental insurance and stated from my first visit that I would pay cash, in full and a discount was agreed upon. Often this was forgotten at the end of the visit or they quoted me a different amount and didn’t have change(then they would want payment and wouldn’t want to honor the discount with a credit card). Also, the price for a cleaning is high in comparison to other dental offices.

Today I had a dental emergency and called Dr. Ha’s office so that I could be seen. The receptionist was terrific and was able to get me in within 2 hours. I can say I was so grateful that it was possible. When I got there, everyone was so professional and knew their areas very well. I had thought the pain was due to a root canal problem but Dr. Ha diagnosed it to be a problem with my bite. I haven’t been to a dentist in well over a year. The professionalism I saw here showed me that Dr. Ha’s office cares about its patients and does its best for them.
