So disappointed with the service I received from this dry cleaner. I brought in a pair of boots to be cleaned, was told the stains would come out but that the material would be rough, I agreed that would be ok. when I came in to pick them up, not only were they a week later than I was told they would be ready, they still weren’t ready and not only were they still stained and not clean, they stained them even more. Tony, the owner, is the most arrogant rude person I have ever met, Natalie(maybe his wife) was very kind in trying to fix the situation. Tony on the other hand should not deal with people, they should keep him locked in the back room since he doesn’t know how to interact with other human beings. unnecessary screaming match in the middle of the dry cleaners. Horrible customer service on his behalf. Will return only to pick up my shoes, and will be writing a complaint to the BBB. No one should be screamed at like I just was by this stronzo!

Great place. My clothes come back clean and properly pressed. The price is reasonable. Even the cash up front work well because I like knowing what I am paying before service. The staff are polite. The only downside is the odd shaped parking lot on a busy corner, but that’s a minor one.

UPDATE: this place has gone downhill. My clothes have come back to me with NEW stains a few times, and the owner isnt very friendly or willing to take comments from customers. Come here around once a week to get stuff cleaned. I like the cash up front policy– I know I’m going so I come prepared. They take hangers back and my clothes are always clean and pressed when I return; they’ve never not been able to get a stain out for me. Parking is not great. The one thing that really bugs me about this place is that they staple cleaning tags ONTO clothing labels. Cannot tell you how many times I’ve been scratched or had to full on cut off a label because of that. Very strange practice; I’ve never seen it done anywhere else. Got my wedding dress cleaned here– they were prompt about cleaning it and the price was more than half off everywhere else I priced out. My gown is nice and fresh and nicely arranged in a box waiting for the next time I wear it: P

If only I could give no stars, I would. Customer comes last here. I first went to New Rave shortly after I moved a mere quarter of a mile from it’s location. Honestly, Sunshine Cleaners is a tiny bit closer but so much more expansive, so I decided to give New Rave a try with their $ 2.49 per garment deal. First of all, good luck finding a woman’s garment that fits the $ 2.49 deal. However, the prices were still reasonable compared to other area cleaners. I noticed that the first round of dry cleaning I picked up from them had a bit of a weird smell to it, but I brushed that off, thinking that it was just their supposedly«organic» cleaning methods. After I picked up the second round and the smell was not only worse, but my clothes were noticably smaller, I decided not to return. But ahh… silly me. I was lured in once again with their deal to clean Uggs for $ 20 and up. I brought my Uggs in filled with hope that they would return to me clean and fresh. I was told that it would be $ 35 for my Uggs and since it was mid-season, I decided to hold off. The girl at the counter assured me that when I did bring them in, they’d be refreshed and looking like new. I recently revisited New Rave with my Ugg boots and Ugg slippers in tow and dropped them off for cleaning. However, when I picked them up, I was CONVINCED that the Ugg boots they handed me were not mine but someone elses. The sand color exterior and even lighter interior were a both now dark brown. My blue Ugg slippers had a ring of grayish-brown around the entire slipper. Flustered, the counter girl got the manager — the owner of the place. She informed me the reason that my Uggs did not come back as expected was because: 1. I bought cheap ones made in China, NOT the ones made in Australlia.(They were purchased at Nordstrom, thank you very much) 2. I wore them excessively and therefore they were beyond repair(definitely not true) 3. There is no way for them to know how the colors will react when they run them through(Hello — maybe tell your customer that before the handover expensive footwear) 4. They are too old to be cleaned. After which, she told the counter girl to no longer accept old Uggs. To which I replied, Yup, because people with brand new Uggs want to get them clean. Now I am left with one pair of slippers that looks worse than I did before I brought them in, and one pair of boots that look nothing like the ones I brought it. Not to mention that they were both gifts from my husband and he was always suspicious of this place to begin with… Never again. In fact, I am disgusted I have to see this place every day.

You have to be really, really desperate to patronize this place. I mean, why else would you subject yourself to the rudeness, the cash only and up-front policy, and the utter destruction of any clothing article these people can get their hands on? This is a classic case of you get what you pay for. What surprises me is this: Obviously, the people who come here care enough about their clothing to actually take it to a dry cleaner. Perhaps they are working in a trade where they must wear a pressed uniform, yet simply cannot afford the higher quality provided by just about any other dry cleaner on the planet. Whatever your situation is, take it from a veteran dry cleaning customer — you can do so much better. You do not have to put up with these peoples’ attitude. You do not have to fork over cash BEFORE you get your clothes back. Think about it… Why do you think they take your money up front? Because by doing that they leave you with no recourse to get your money back when they inevitably mark and spot and basically ruin your clothing.(Which they love to cover up by sticking on those ridiculous red tags that essentially blame *YOU* for submitting it damaged in the first place.) Grrr. I got suckered into going here when I moved back from NYC by a person who I will take great pains not to shame here. But let’s just say he has a lot less at stake because he brings his work uniforms here, and the bar is set substantially lower for these types of things. It pains me to write such a negative review, but having dealt with these people and seeing the quality of their work, they don’t even deserve to stay in business. Unfortunately, there are enough people out there who simply can’t afford the extra buck or two for better service, and so bottom feeders like this will always somehow manage to survive. Oh, and good luck getting out of the parking lot without causing an accident.

Never again. I went there for the first time today. There was a lady in front of me being helped and then there was a woman who appeared to be the owner standing there staring at me… not offering help. Another girl did come to help me. I was charged $ 13 for two dresses, not bad but not what I expected being they have a sign that says $ 2.99 any garment. But whatever, the price was not bad. However when the girl that was helping me said they normally have people pay now instead of when they pick up and its cash only I asked if I can pay at pick up since I did not know this policy and did not have cash on me. The owner immediately, and rudely said«she just told you that you can pay later». Which i did not hear the girl say. And even if she did say that and I didn’t hear her then the girl could have repeated herself to me, not this woman who I was not speaking to in the first place and who was RUDE!!! never EVER again.
