I went to Amy Dental for dental crown by the recommendation from a dental specialist. Before I did the dental crown with Dr. Mao, I also have my teeth deep cleaned by Dr. Lin. Both of the doctors are very patent and detail oriented. They not only did their work professionally, but were also able to adjust their actions after listening to patents feedback. They did a good job minimizing the pains. Dr. Lin, who did the deep cleaning for me, detailed the procedures that I need to follow after cleaning, to have better protection of my gums. I think my cleaning habit changes a bit (to better side) after the visit, as I am persuaded by her explanations. Dr. Mao, explained to me the way she approached the practice, such as why she preferred to leave a small gap between the crown and the root of my tooth (so that the crown root would not touch the gum). I felt more clear on what happened to me and the crown on me. My overall experiences on their services are pretty positive.
Besides, I feel the service from the reception staff members are pretty good. When I have special requirements about the appointment time and date, or some issues with the insurance company, they tried very hard to meet my expectation.

My husband went there to fix the carvity first and then he introduced me there. I was told that my dental insurance will not as good as my husband’s one and cannot cover all the cleaning fee. But finally they still offer me a good discount for tooth cleaning. I had my tooth checked every year from my school health insuramce, but every time I went to school health center, I was told everything is fine. But now with amy dental I found I have actually 9 tooth that need to have small fixed and I see one tooth has a small but deep cavity… I hope I can know this early from my school doctor that I will not suffer any pain for my fixing… anyway, their service is pretty good and give you very detailed explaination for any question you have.

Just wanna recommend Dr. Lin to everyone. My friend referred me to amy dental and Dr. Lin gave my first regular check exam. I was told that i have more than 8 potential cavities back to that time. Dr. Lin and the front desk lady started giving me a well round plan and teaching me how to properly use my insurance to have my cavities filled. Dr. Lin is a very professional and patient dentist. When i needed to have my #9 implanted, they provided me a lots of information even though they dont do implant in Amy dental. I will absolutely recommend this place to someone who is looking for professional dental service.

The doctors are very nice, but the woman in the front desk only deserve one star. She push you to do a lot of test and with bad attitude.

I’m usually not one to count going to the dentist among my positive experiences, but I went in this week for a checkup and routine cleaning, and found the experience quick, pleasant, and informative.
After a look at my X-​rays and examining my teeth, my dentist was able to point out problem areas – some I’ve known about for a while, and some new. She was really friendly and helpful in changing the habits that would impact my dental health. Compared to other dentists I’ve seen, she was genuinely interested in my wellbeing! Would definitely recommend.

I had been putting off the dentist since moving from Houston due to the hectic move. I found this place out of a whim, basically noticed the practice while I was dining out at Chinatown.
When I arrived, the receptionist greeted me immediately and made me feel comfortable. She was quick to greet me and helped check on my insurance plan and setting up an appointment.
After going through my x-​rays, I was advised to not only have a routine dental checkup, but also a deep cleaning. The doctor and assistant was super friendly, immediately made me feel at ease. I felt like I was in good hands and have nothing to worry about. The whole procedure went very smoothly.
During my cleaning, the hygienist gave me a lot of pointers and explained why certain things happened and how to prevent them. I felt that I could ask as many questions as I wanted and that the hygienist and dentist truly cared about my dental hygiene and well-​being.
I will continue to be a patient here and would encourage those looking for a dentist to come here.

Our family has been with Amy Dental for several years. This is a very clean place. All the doctors there are very patient and professional. We have our regular cleanings, X-​rays, fillings with Dr. Lin. She is really a very good dentist. She is knowledgeable, nice and likes listening to patients. She does great job. Staffs in Amy Dental are all very polite and considerate. My husband, my kids and myself like Amy Dental very much!
Dr Mao is especially experienced and patient with kids. She has her own way to let small kids follow the instructions. We like her!

My family and I have been with Amy Dental for more than 7 years. Dr. Lin and Dr. Mao are very nice. Dr. Lin has been provided many advises and concerns on my gum recession. Now, my gum recession is under control. I always got gum infection after deep cleaning in my ex-​dentists. She explains well that I am the type of person no need to do deep cleaning as long as my oral hygiene is doing good. As she says, ‘Floss every night is the most basic.’ I wish I know her earlier.

My family have been going to Amy Dental for over 10 years. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. I had several services done by Dr. Li within the last 6 months and every time she did an amazing job as always.
Also, the insurance paper was handled properly and I did not have to pay more as the work done during service and after reflected correctly in the insurance category.
All in all, we had a great experience with Amy Dental. Will definitely recommend for any dental needs.

I have not go to Amy Dental for about 3 months. But thanks to them, now I have the habit to use the dental floss.
I think this is the meaning of Doctor. Make them healthy and have healthy habit, do not need to see them frequently.

I started going here because this is on the way to work. Quick exist off 880. So I could do this on my way rather than having to go to fremont hub area.
I have been going here for 5 years now. So far all the work they have done has been excellent quality. There are two doctors, Dr. Lin (and another whos name I dont recall) Both have treated me in the past and and it had been a great experience.
No complains of pain.
Never felt like the suggested treatment was unnecessary of excessive.
Compared to previous place I used to go near my home where I felt like they were ripping me off.

Both my husband and I have been to this dentist place for both regular dentist check-​up & cleaning (every 6 month) plus deep cleaning. They are very thorough, nice, easy to communicate with. The most impressive thing is that the dentists there are very skillful in working with your teeth. I’ve been to other places and they all made me feel horrible. But the dentists there are very gental and skillful. Not to mention that everyone there is very cheerful and friendly. I would recommend this dentist place to any friend! Highly recommended!

I have been with Amy Dental for 10 years and know all the doctors well in the clinic: Dr. Mao, Lin, and Li. We often trade a few jokes while having my teeth cleaning, relaxing and fun. They did an excellent job removing my wisdom teeth. There’s only once I had to go to the clinic twice to trim the tooth due to some discomfort after the crowning. They could certainly improve here and there. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of their work and their attitude.
I don’t like to write reviews much. I wrote this because I saw the comments posted earlier, «liar», «greedy blood sucker»… I didn’t quite get that!!!

My family has been with Amy Dental for over 10 years. We have used both Drs. Lin and Li whenever they are available at the appointment dates we want. We mainly set appointments with Dr. Lin as my kids love to talk with her about their school things.
My elder son is now graduated and working at Berkeley. But he will come back to Milpitas for his annual exams and cleanings. The Drs are very patient and truly detail oriented. They spend more time on examining and cleaning. I have been with the office for routine cleanings, x-​rays, fillings, and crowns.
We are very happy to choose them as our dentists and plan stay with them as long as possible.

Under my friend’s recommendation, I went to Dr. Li for an emergency tooth fix after I broke one of my teeth which had root canal before. She was so nice and professional. After the x-​ray check, she gave me a temporary crown which will protect the other part of the tooth from breaking before I wear the real crown. Then she checked my other teeth, and found out I have too many fillings and root canal needs to be done. But my insurance can’t do all of them within this year. She and Wendy, a very nice assistant, calculated the cost and my insurance numbers very carefully and gave a thoughtful arrangement for me. I am very impressed they did a very good job and they really cared about their clients’ teeth & money issues…
I have to say, I feel very secure about my teeth with Dr. Li and her team though I will have a lot of fixes to do. They are professional, nice and caring. Highly recommended!

Last year, my colleague recommended me to Amy dental. Because i didn’t see dentist regularly, Dr Li found 8 of my teeth have tooth decay. some of them were very deep. After 3 months, all these teeth had been fixed. fortunately, none of them need kill nerve. They provide some gift and gift card for patients.

I went to Dr. Lin for wisdom teeth removal (3 of them! eeck) when they starting growing crocked. Dr. Lin was able to remove them without any hassle and I didn’t have much pain afterwards. After a few days, I was able to return to my regular diet of gluttonous consumption without any problems! Have been going to her ever since for fillings, crowns and etc. I really need to floss more than 2−3x a week… sigh.
Will keep going back to her until someone invents nanotechnology that fills teeth and kills cavities without any pain!

Our family has gone to Amy Dental for the past 4 – 5 years, and usually things have gone without a hitch. I got my headgear and braces set there and still continue to go for deep cleans, and every time we go, I am impressed with the 2 – 3 month whitenings at the area.
All in all, Amy Dental is a great family dentist, especially for regular cleans and brace-​work.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. My family had been going to Amy Dental for years. I saw a dentist 3 years ago, and she is not only an unskilled dentist, she is a liar and manipulator. I went in for a general checkup and after I got X-​rayed, she pointed out that I had cavities. When I viewed the X-​rays, I couldn’t see any. She literally pointed to two of my teeth, which looked perfectly fine, and said that I had cavities there. She pushed me to get filings that day, but I argued, saying that I couldn’t see any and I wanted to get another dentist’s opinion. After I said that, she immediately got very angry and said that I didn’t go to dental school, how would I be able to identify cavities? I felt uncomfortable and left.
Fast forward three years later: Today, I went to another dentist to get a general checkup. After they took my X-​rays, I asked them if I had any cavities. What do you know? My teeth were perfectly healthy.
The aforementioned dentist is a liar and a greedy blood sucker. My family has since stopped going to her after she claimed my sister needed emergency surgery for her crowns. She went to another dentist, and said that all she needed was deep cleaning.
AVOID THIS CLINIC LIKE THE PLAGUE.
