Linh did an amazing job alterting my Maggie Sottero gown’s bodice. I originally took it in for the adjustments and with her suggestion, she added some beautiful beaded straps to the gown and it fit like a dream! Thank you Linh — I felt truly beautiful celebrating my 40^th wedding anniversary!

Linh is very nice and pleasant to work with. She is very professional and honest about everything which I really appreciate. I ordered cheap custom order wedding dress from China knowing I will need alteration. She explained how made in China dress gets made and shortcuts they took to make dress cheaper but she can make it nicer. Linh made OK dress to nice dress! It fits really well and much firmer on upper body to stay on. Thank you very much!

Thank you so much Linh for tailoring my 6 layered prom dress and doing suit rentals! Prom was saved because of you. Linh also added a bustle to my prom dress because my dress came with a delicate train. The bustle helped so much because my dress would have been ruined if it was being dragged everywhere at prom. My boyfriend also rented an ivory suit and he looked amazing. Overall, prices are a bit expensive but it was so worth it at the end. My dress looked amazing and so did my date! :)

I had my daughter’s prom dress altered. Her dress was very detailed and complicated but Linh did an amazing job and it fit her perfectly! Highly recommend this place.

Linh is the BEST.
Before taking my dress to Linh I actually had doubts about whether I should sell my dress and find a different one. It was hard for me to see the beauty in the dress because it wasn’t fitted to my body. After Linh did her magic (she tailored it perfectly to my body) — the dress became super flattering. It looked like a different dress before and afterwards. I was so happy with the final product. Linh is also a super sweet woman that tells us her stories which we can all relate to. She’s like an older sister, taking care of all her clients and making sure we are super happy. Very appreciative of that. During the wedding day, apparently I lost more weight and it was a bit loose but it was still a beautiful dress. Wish I had done one more fitting 1 week prior.
Linh also impressed my mother as she was very skeptical at first. During the last week before flying out to Maui, I found a different dress I wanted to have a hem for the welcome party and although Linh was super busy she was sweet enough to accommodate my request and get it done within a few days. Customer service is exceptional and very professional. You won’t be disappointed, go to Linh.

Let me say first off, I never write any reviews as I am not extremely impressed by a lot of services or people, but Linh is an exception to that rule.
I just paid a visit on 4÷8÷16 to Linh’s for some tailoring service for my wedding dress and a quick alternation of a skirt. Hands down, Linh had a great personality and was an absolute delight to work with.
My situation was a bad one, as I had ordered a replica dress made in China, but when they shipped me the dress the portions were all wrong so Linh has a lot of work ahead of her. She was very understanding of my situation and made very effort to figure out ways to correct my dress. I had requested the following; hemming the dress, taking in each side, removal of beading of the mesh front, replacements of crystal buttons on the back with satin buttons of my dress and the chest area to be smaller. This is a huge project for her and yet she was so kind about this huge under taking.
I had read every single review before my fitting with Linh and was some what worried, but she put my fears to rest during out fitting, as her skills were very apparent, customer service was 100% on par with other higher end tailors, and pricing was fairly reasonable.
I have to say that none of the negative reviews are true during my experience of the fitting. I will later update this review once I go into my 2^nd fitting and pick up afterwards. Looking forward to the finished product.

After many trials of going to different tailors, I have found the one that I COMPLETELY trust. I took my beloved, lace dress here because I thought, okay, it looks like she does a lot of wedding dresses and there’s a lot of lace wedding dresses so she must be a pro. AND SHE WAS! She was able to fix my dress the proper way unlike a different tailor before her who lazily butchered it. I was so grateful. TRUST is a hard thing to find and it’s trust that I found in this amazing place for my most treasured items.

Linh is seriously the best. My husband and I moved to Campbell a few months ago and I am still driving to Milpitas because she is great! Over the last few years I have brought her numerous pants, a few shirts and a few dresses. She really wants her customers to be happy. She isn’t out to take your money! Recently I brought in a shift style dress and told her I wanted her to take it in so it would show my figure. She was honest and said she knew what I wanted but because of the cut of the dress and lack of zippers, she wouldn’t be able to make it the way I wanted and I should return it. I really appreciated her honesty. And as long as I live in the South Bay I will be a customer of hers! Thanks Linh!

I’ve gotten 3 items tailored by Linh and every time they’ve came out beautifully.
1. My junior prom was coming up and instead of buying a new dress, I used the bridesmaid dress from my moms wedding. The fabric was 16 years old and almost 4 sizes too big. Linh made it fit perfectly. I felt like a princess at my junior prom.
2. I needed my winterball dress picked up. It was too loose on the top. Again, Linh made it fit beautifully.
3. My most recent once was a triangle dress that made me look pregnant. She was able to fix it as best as possible and it looked stunning. So much better than before.
It’s come to the point that I trust her with my clothes. Plus, I love that she talks to you. Whenever I come in she remembers my name and its very comforting to know that she knows you and cares about your best interest and your clothes.

No one is more deserving of a five star review than Linh. I already scheduled an appointment to take my wedding dress in for alteration with someone else but I decided to cancel it after I met Linh. I didn’t switch because it was cheaper, it actually costed more. It was important to me that I put my wedding dress in the hands of someone who understood my vision.
Linh was professional, knowledgable and an expert in her field of work. She is one of the most genuine and affable vendors I’ve worked with during the wedding planning process (for those of you who are married, you know how much this can influence your wedding planning experience.)
Her store hours conflicted with my extremely busy work schedule but she stayed late to meet with me every time. She also made additional adjustments to my dress she thought would highlight my body shape without charge. I can’t say enough good things about her.

Linh has been taking care of my wardrobe for the past two years now. You will not find another tailor out there like Linh. Her craftsmanship and attention to detail are what keeps me coming back. After being spoiled by her tailoring, I literally cannot wear anything off the rack anymore, including «slim fit» shirts.
Suits, Selvedge Denim, Dress Shirts, Casual Button Ups… you name it: she can tailor it.
I have entrusted her with Tom Ford dress shirts, Zegna Suits, and APC jeans. Trust me, you are in good hands. Though tailoring every shirt in your wardrobe can be a hefty investment, transforming your wardrobe to pieces that want to keep for years will save you money in the long run.

I found Elegant Tailoring & Bridal from Google and checking out Unilocal.At this point in my search for my wedding gown I had already been to several stores and tried on about 30 dresses. I came into the shop and fell in love with Linh! She is so nice and caring! I told her what I was looking for and the lines of dresses I had considered. Initially I was looking for a Allue Modest gown but I ended up going with a custom modest gown from Casablanca. I was blown away at the customer service and communication that I was given from Linh! Once we found my dream wedding dress we ordered it and it came in earlier than expected! I had three fittings before the dress was perfect for me and I was able to take it home with me two weeks ahead of the wedding! I also ordered my bridesmaids dresses from Linh. I loved that we were able to pick the dress, color and length we wanted. I was able to create a dress for my bridesmaid that looked fantastic on everyone! Linh helped me along the way through the entire process and I would recommend her to anybody looking for a wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses or formal wear! I came to Linh for wedding alterations (bridal, mother-​in-​law, nephew’s tux). Choose the version you’d like to read!
Long story short:
Linh is amazing, my dress fits wonderfully, my mother-in-law’s dress fits wonderfully, my nephew’s tux is amazing, and I was able to get a perfect veil for half the price of a veil you’d find at Trudys. Also, my dress that I originally thought was a true ivory, is actually a diamond white thanks to Linh’s personal recommendation of cleaners to use.
Actual Story:
First off, let me say I bought my dress from a Trudys sample sale. While the dress itself was gorgeous, it was obviously tried on and basically WORN a lot. I don’t have any issue admitting this! I love sample sales, but always be prepared to get what you pay for! :). Anyways, I went to Linh based on Unilocal reviews, and its prime location near my sisters.
When I first went to Linh, I realized she’s Vietnamese. That’s no way, shape, or form, an issue for me. Parts of me though felt like she was going to judge me just because I didn’t know Vietnamese fluently. Nope! Totally wrong! Linh was so charasmatic and went in and out of speaking English and Vietnamese, when she finally said she was just going to speak English because it was easier for her haha.
Ok back to the dress. She knew immediately it came from a sample sale, she knew it was an Allure gown, she knew there were multiple jewels missing, and started marking all the parts where the lace was ripped. She also knew that the ivory I had thought the dress was… wasn’t supposed to be the true color of the dress. Oh and I forgot… she knew all of this before I even opened my mouth.
What people can misconstrue as «rude», I perceived as simply a straightforward woman who knows you have problem, as is doing her best to fix it.
After 3 – 4 fittings, we finally got it perfect! Then we sent it to the cleaners. At first, I was a little nervous about sending it to her cleaner recommendation because I’ve never met them before but she had reassured me that she only uses them and if she isn’t satisfied, she’ll send it back before even showing me. So we went ahead and went with her recommendation.
THE DRESS CAME BACK WHITE! I thought the dress was Ivory… but in reality the dress was «Diamond White». I wish I had a before/​after photo to show how much Linh has done for me and this dress.
My mother-​in-​law doesn’t have a Unilocal account but is also very happy with her dress alterations!
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to Linh because she does AMAZING work and anyone who disagrees needs to see what this woman has done to my dress. She really made me feel like my 5’1 boyish framed body had a chance to look like a true curvy bride. :)

Reasonable price, got my bridesmaid dress done in a week! So much better than what my friends paid and good quality work!

Linh at Elegant Tailoring did alterations for my wedding gown, and it needed quite a few changes. She was quick and a perfectionist and an excellent choice for a tailor. My dress fit perfectly and looked even better than I had imagined it to look. She is honest, realistic, and professional and I appreciated that about her work. Will absolutely work with Linh for future alterations, and I highly recommend her to brides!

We have been a long time customer –as this is close to our home and have had other items hemmed without an issue. My relative came here for Linh to do final alterations on her wedding dress– preparing her for the big day! The Bride had gained a little weight (nothing major) so the dress wasn’t fitting how we would have liked. Linh belittled her, told her she wouldn’t be able to do anything to help her, and is not so many words made her feel as though there was nothing she could do to make the dress look nice on her. She told her she needed to buy a new wedding dress (5 weeks before her wedding ?) The bride was devastated and felt awful after leaving the shop.
Thank god we went back Trudy’s Bridal where we bought the dress– their seamstress came in right away — and in her exact words said «oh this isn’t that bad, pretty easy really «. She said she could open up the dress from the inside and add panels etc…
This tells me that Linh just didn’t want to do the work. She could have just said that rather than ruining that moment for the Bride. She could have been a little more PR about it and nicer. She didn’t need to bring this negative black cloud and verbally beat down the Bride over something that could and will be fixed. In what should be the happiest few weeks of her life she will forever carry this memory with her. I also don’t want to hear that it’s the Bride’s fault for the weight gain. Linh is providing a service– this type of situation is not an uncommon thing. If she was unskilled or to lazy to do the work JUST SAY THAT!
No customer service skills, shame on you Linh!

I’ll be honest, I was a bit nervous about tailoring my bridesmaids dress and my fiancé fixing a pair of linen pants for fear that damage would be irreversible, but Linh was great. She has a very calm and easy way about her and she listened very closely to every request we had while explaining what made sense or was realistic based on her expertise. It made me feel like she definitely had our best interest which I appreciated.
True story, I hated my bridesmaids dress before she tailored it, but now I’m excited to wear it as its so much more flattering now + my fiancés linen pants look amazing now. She took out a fold on the bottom and took in the sides. Overall, this place is great. I’ll definitely go there when it’s time to tailor my wedding dress :) We’re happy customers!

If I could give 10 stars, I would!
I found Linh through Unilocal and needed her help with an impossible situation. My girlfriend picked a sequined discontinued off the rack dress for her bridesmaid dresses. To top it off, the dress is a dark gold so finding fabric that matched was impossible. The dress was only available in a few sizes and the size closest to mine was 3 sizes too small. I went to Linh and asked for her to make this dress have a corset back. She was honest and helpful from the start. She assured me she’s done this before but made sure that I knew the outcome might not be that great because of all the sequins and needing to make such a drastic change– again, 3 sizes to small. She went out and searched for matching fabric for me and the outcome is remarkable. The dress actually looks like it was meant to have a corset back. I couldn’t be more pleased with the work, the pricing, and the overall customer service.
I will definitely be back to Linh and will recommend her to anyone needing tailoring/​miracle services! Thank you so so much!!!
