Enrique’s Auto Upholstery

Man, totally forgot to pop in a review. Enrique is excellent at what he does. The headliner in my Audi A4 had completely come off and he repaired it in one day. The workmanship was superb and price very reasonable. All upholstery needs in the future, I’ll come back to him for sure.

Enrique is the best in the area if you are restoring an old muscle car. He did a great job on recovering my 69′ AMX front bucket seats even with a little custom piping. Very reasonable and personable. I highly recommend Enrique.

Enrique did upholstery on my 34 years Volvo. My seats were almost completely ripped.
I have given him enough time and did not hustle him for time as I was on emergency travel.
When I saw the car I could not believe my eyes. My Volvo looks like a brand new Mercedes inside.
I went back to him and told him I came to «complain» — because now I need a new paint!
I wen to give him $ 100, (not a tip), but appreciation for hard and honest work for more than a reasonable price because I feel I underpaid him for the quality of work he did.
(communication: yes, you have to be patient with him and make sure he understands you. But it is the work you get and honesty that matters in the end)

I’ve waited about 20 minutes for nothing, all I wanted was to get a price quote to do my seats on my car. I guess Enrique doesn’t care about Unilocal reviews!

Not sure how this place got a perfect rating, although I cannot speak of the work done at this shop, but the customer service really needs some improvement. Here is how the conversation with Enrique went after I left a voice message for him and he called back,
Enrique: I’m calling you back
Me: Great! I am wondering if you carry Katzkin leather?
Enrique: Let me call you back
Me: Ugh… Ok…
Enrique (Called back five minutes later): Sorry about that, a customer just came in.
Me: It’s ok, but as we left off, I was wondering if you carry
Enrique: (cuts me off), just drop the shop, sorry, I have to go. Sorry, I have to go.(Hangs up)
Not sure what the point of him calling me back multiple times is when he can only stay on the phone for 30 seconds or so each time.
Take a note here Enrique, no matter how good your work is, if your customer service skills suck, no one is gonna want to do business with you.

Enrique created a custom white bikini top for my Jeep. He used parts from my existing top adding them to the new top. He added additional material to secure it so that there is less movement during freeway driving. Came out great.

To begin with, Enrique is a good guy. I wanted to to change my car’s headliner for a long time and after looking at the reviews here, decided on his services. He took the appointment by phone. He showed me the color that he was going to use. I suggested that it was a little off. He took the time to go to his garage which was away to get the best color match, rather than try to convince me. He would allow me to watch the process, give tips and explain how and why he is doing it a certain way.
He also allowed me to use his vacuum cleaner to clean the car-​carpet. You should at the least get a quotation from him for your car upholstery needs. He has a very fair price and does a great job.

The most affordable place to get your headliners redone, I highly recommend getting a quote if your upholstery is falling apart.

Enrique replaced my sagging headliner, he did a great job in short time. Very nice and trustworthy guy!

Saturday afternoon, December 21, 2014… I drive up to find Enrique working on a car while I’m in my 1998 Land Rover Discovery with a saggy headliner. Before I even get out of the car Enrique is already asking what I need. I say headliner and without hesitation he gives me a price without even looking at it yet. Tells me to bring it back tomorrow morning so he can start on it.
If you’re not familiar with a Discovery, allow me to tell you its a lot of work to get the headliner out. Two sunroofs and various panels containing electronic plugs in the ceiling. Pain in the ass that I was not willing to tackle myself.
Back to Enrique, he jumps in the truck and starts telling me ‘oh man this is a lot of work’ which made me think he would up his price but thankfully he didn’t or I probably would have walked away. He tells me he needs to cut a piece of fabric from the original headliner so he has a sample for the fabric he needs to buy. He cuts the sample then measures the roof line to see how much fabric he needs to buy. Gets his measurements then gives me an invoice to fill out, takes a small deposit and tells me to bring it back at 9:00am and it will be done the same day.
I drop it off at 9 so Enrique can start working his magic. At 12:45 I get a call from Enrique saying it would not be ready today because he had just finished taking the headliner out. He offers to send me pictures of the headliner via text but I just head over there to see the work. He has the headliner out but still has to scrape all the old material off and promises me it would be done the next day. Now before you go thinking «that’s messed up, he said it would be done the same day» remember that this is the SUNDAY before Christmas, how many upholstery guys do you know that work on Sunday? So I wasn’t really bothered by it since I would rather him take his time then do a rush job.
I get a call Monday about 2:00pm «hello this is Enrique, your car will be ready by 4:00pm.» I picked up my Discovery at 4:00pm and was happy with the work. Enrique did a good job at a great price. The color was perfect and I no longer have a saggy headliner that blow in the wind when the windows are down, my headliner is tight and toned and ready for summer! I’ll definitely be going back to Enrique for more upholstery, he even offered to clean and condition my leather seats for a fair price, I just might take him up on that!
So in short, go find Enrique’s shop, let him know what you need and see his work for yourself. I would get a few quotes from other shops so you can compare to what Enrique quotes you and you’ll see what everyone is talking about on his reasonable pricing.

Took my good old 2005 Acura MDX with torn driver seat n the side. Showed him the car and then magic starts to happen.
— Honest Opinions and Guidance: HE walked me thru the process of keeping leather clean and conditioned for longevity of leather and how to make it look always nice and kinda new
— Free Goodies: He offered to clean the carpet, glue on the edges on rear where it was coming off of the body and he did — no charge
— Hardworking: I saw him working on carpet to get the coke stains out, he is a magician who works very hard to ensure best possible results
— Transparent: He shared even the address of the shop where he buys his supplies, kept as a secret among upholstery people. Shared what solution, chemicals and conditioners he is using with a nice «why and how’ — the most important part.
Selling your car, you need to visit this guy to ensure it sells fast and gets you better price PERIOD.

Enrique is back in town. He does not have a shop yet but he is trying to set one up. He worked out of another shop for me. He replaced a head liner in my car. He did it fast and it turned out great. The price was the most reasonable. I recommend him to all.

Great work from these guys!!! Took just my prepped frame of the back seat and a week later picked up this nice seat. They matched the pattern of my front buckets and even ordered thicker thread to match my front seats threading. Will be going back forsure.

I brought my 2000 Town and Country minivan to Enrique’s Auto Upholstery to change the saggy headliner, after a day my van is done and the headliner is better than when it was brand new.
Enrique (owner) is someone you can refer to family and friends. His price is very reasonable and his work is highly recommended.

I had Enrique re-​do my armrest in a suv and I gotta say WOW! He made it look like new. I was going to go to the dealer and they wanted $ 299.99 for the part alone. I found him here and called him, he came to me and took out the part re-​did the black leather and had it ready today and installed for more than half off a new one and the quality and leather look like factory. I found my new upholstery guy and I highly recommend him… very professional!!!

I have a 2008 Mercedes C300 and the drivers seat split. I was looking for someone to fix it, and was worried because it is a power seat, and I thought it would be really expensive. We found Enrique thru Unilocal and he did an awesome job and it was very reasonable. It looks brand new again!

First off I have a 68′ Chevelle that I’m restoring and if anyone knows anything about classic cars you know how much work is put into the smallest of details.
Enrique has shown true professionalism and is a master of his craft. He is a remote worker and came to my house twice to get everything right. He also lends a helping hand with other things that he isn’t responsible for as an auto upholstery guy, he literally just helped if I or him saw a problem with anything. And not that this is important, or lack there of, but the price he gave me was FREAKING AWESOME!!! Given that I’m a full time student and all.
Really I can go on and on about this guy and his business but I think I made the most important points.

The stock black basket weave seats in my sports car had seen better days. The vinyl on the bolsters was cracking and dry. The bottom cushions had holes in them. I thought about getting OEM style recover kits, but I really wanted something unique. I like the look of historic Porsche and Mercedes cars with plaid or houndstooth cushions and backrest and figured I could get them recovered in this style if I could find an upholstery fabric I liked. I got a great deal on houndstooth fabric on e-​Bay and I found Enrique was willing to supply the black vinyl and redo both seats using the existing covers as a pattern. I couldn’t be happier with the way they turned out. I would highly recommend Enrique’s upholstery shop.

I took my car hear not that long ago and they did such a great job, I’m about to take my brother car to get his whole interior done. They are very professional best service ever I RECOMMEND THIS CONPANY TO EVERYONE !!!
