What can i say about this place, clay pot for lunch and flame fire hot pot during dinner. Everytime i come here i always order the spiciest pot they have the hit spicy! It has a mild kick to it not that spicy where u need 5 cups of water to finish your meal just decent enough to satisfy your taste buds where the spicy flavor linger on your tongue. And also they have Hot pot and milk tea at the same time? Whhhaaaa best combo ever. A+++ need more meat in the hot pot though… protein!

Went to H.I.T. for the 1st time a few weeks ago and I’m sold! I got the Shacha Hot Pot, bf got the Kimchi one and it was delicious. Compared to Boiling Point, H.I.T. is a more americanized hot pot location (no seafood/​pig blood in every selection, etc). So depends on what you prefer.
What surprised me was how good their Lavender Milk Tea was! I might just come here for milk tea…
Next time, I want to try to Chowder Hot Pot :)

Unilocal says that I’ve checked in twice and asks me what keeps me coming back?! Well, the answer is a couple simple ones: 1. the check-​in option provides me with a free side dish to add to my hot pot. Who can say no to a heaping pile of extra meat for free?
2. This place is the exact same (well, almost) as the overrated-​as-​hell Boiling Point in Fremont, except without the agonizing hour-​long lines outside. So when I need my hot pot fix, instead of waiting with the idiots in the cold at Fremont, I run here and get seated immediately! Also, it’s much cheaper than BP too. (Yeah I think BP is dumb af).
3. They have a decent amount of «soup base» options that are pretty good. Portions are decent — with the side of rice and the free meat dish you get at check-​in, you WILL be full.
4. They have some damn good milk tea and side dishes. Salt and Pepper Calamari was seasoned just the way I love it, and my Rose and Lavender milk teas are lusciously fragrant.
Minus one star for: last time I was there, they put way too much fuel for my fire in; the flames almost burned my face off. It’s coo though. Not like I don’t need my nose to eat.
Service is your normal grumpy Asian foreign kid service — he’ll do your bidding but give you a side of attitude.

This restaurant is a cute place to bring a date. HIT has everything you need from hot pot to milk tea to ice cream! Actually haven’t tried their tea drinks yet, but can’t wait until next time.
So, we ordered the HIT Chowder Hot Pot. Yes… Chowder… Like… Clam chowder. The broth was actually surprisingly good. Light, but with just enough chowder flavor. The hot pot came with all the goodies hot pot usually has: enoki mushrooms, tofu, fish balls, corn, imitation crab, vegies, blah blah and we got the beef. Everything tasted good.
We also got the fried tofu. They were round and not super fried. Delicious!
Lastly, for dessert, we ordered the matcha ice cream (it came with red beans). It’s basically snow ice type texture. It was good, but it didn’t taste as matcha-​y as we would of liked it.
Definitely will come back

Came here for a few times. I really like their Korean army hotpot. I was very disappointed since they changed the ingredients in the hotpot. I’m not a beef eater. The reason I chose the army pot is because there is no beef in it but I found out they actually put the meatball in there. The hotpot is smaller now and this makes it not hot enough to have things cooked.

I used to love this place so much. My family friends and my family use to come every week to eat here. We became normal customers and they even remembered us. Service is excellent and still is since I’ve been coming back once in awhile!
It’s very similar to Boiling Point but their pots are a bit smaller. Recently with new hot pot restaurants popping up around the area such as Boiling Point in Fremont and Tastypot in San Jose, my standards have risen up you can say. The soup is a little bland and I have noticed there is less and less meat and more vegetables than they used to have. Other than that, their snow (black sesame in particular) is a must try and their teas are good too!
This is a go to place if you choose to not to wait in the cold for Boiling Point. If you want to avoid a wait, arrive around 5 to early 6PM on weekends.

Very similar to boiling point… Portion size is good, you normally do not get both rice and noodles at hot pot places, well they don’t make you pick… Will gladly give you both.
The also have udon noodles which most hot pot places don’t have as an option.
I didn’t get to try their shave ice but I did order a grass jelly red bean milk tea and it tasted great not too sweet so go head and skip the lines at Fantasia across the plaza if you want milk tea after dinner.
Overall good experience… Will be back!

I was craving hot pot but didn’t want all you can eat and didn’t want to rub shoulders with the giant mass of people waiting at boiling point in Fremont, so we decided to try here. We came for an early dinner (6pm) but by the time we left, there was a wait.
I got the spicy beef and it was pretty spicy even for me, a spice fiend. I had to get order a milk tea to be able to keep drinking my broth, so beware. Overall the broth was good and they give you a decent amount of meat and don’t have a giant layer of cabbage waiting for you at the bottom of the pot like BP.
I’m not that big of a fan of Boiling Point but their sauces are the best part for me and HIT ‘s sauce fall short of «hitting» the «sauce» spot for me… Feel free to cringe at my puns.

Came here for lunch one day because there was an hour wait at another spot in the plaza that I was looking at first and this turned out to be GREAT! Apparently it’s a law that you cannot have raw meat laid out so the hot pot is no longer as fun since they cook everything for you already, but it’s still hot pot and you get MORE THAN full from what they give you — cheaper than buffet too!
Got the Satay and spicy one and the mix of the 2 makes for the PERFECT soup base. I can’t eat hot pot without satay sauce, it’ just how it is. They give you a crazy amount of cabbage which I was unable to finish, but otherwise the pot had all the goods.
I also have to commend them on their drinks because even their simple green/​black tea that comes with the lunch meal was delicious and not watered down. I also saw people simply coming in and just ordering their boba! (About $ 3.50 for a regular tea drink and more for milk or specialty flavors)
I’ll definitely be back!

Wait on a Saturday night was about 40 minutes.
Ordered the vegetarian hot pot — portions are relatively small compared to Boiling Point. The dipping sauces could have been more fragrant. At least make one of the three sauces a stand out. The contents of the hot pot were okay, they added ketchup to flavor it because it did not taste natural or like vegetable broth.
My fire went out twice in 30 minutes. the first time the waiter looked a bit peeved, the second time I did not let him know since I was almost done. Two other peoples fires went out at just our table alone. Saw the waiters add fuel to a handful of peoples pots at other tables.
Price can get expensive, dinner for one of the hot pots was $ 17! So surprised especially factoring in the portion size.

I couldn’t eat my food!
I’ve seen friends post all about this place and their pictures made the food look delicious so I decided to try this place out.
There was no wait for 2 people. We wanted to order appetizers, but they were out of almost everything. I ordered the HIT ARMY and they brought the food out almost immediately.
I was seriously disappointed. I thought that hot pot meant that the food was going to be HOT, but my egg didn’t even cook while it was in the soup on the burner. :(I tried to wait a little and mix it around, but I just couldn’t eat the raw egg, cold spam and hot dogs in my bowl. About 10 minutes later we asked for the check and left.
Nothing against the servers or anything, I just couldn’t eat the food because it wasn’t my idea of hot pot.

Good food, bad service, bad operation. Bad operation– each guest got different size of plate, so wired. The Unilocal check in offer said each guest will get an add on but the store said only one for each table and said it in a terrible attitude. The fire under the pot kept coming up and felt really dangerous. Overall, great food but not an enjoyable experience. Bye, the add on from Unilocal offer was the additional ingredient to the pot; not include the cooked appetizers

I might actually like this place more than Boiling Point!
LOCATION: Located to the left side of McCarthy Ranch plaza. So glad this place was one of the few restaurants opened on Thanksgiving and it was still packed! The restaurant is quite small, hence the long waits, but it was worth it!
FOOD: I love how there’s a variety of hot pot to choose from and each had different ingredients unlike boiling point, which is the same broth with the same ingredients except one more than the other depending which type of meat/​style you order. I ordered the Sha Cha beef here and it was good! I thought the portion was perfect, since I don’t usually eat that much. If it was any bigger, it would have gone to waste since bringing leftover hot pot home isn’t that great… I do have to agree with the other reviews that their sauces isn’t as great as boiling point.
PRICE: This place is around the same price as Boiling Point. The difference between Lunch and Dinner is $ 1 which is not too bad.
Overall, I would choose this place over boiling point!

Japanese Miso — doesn’t have either a powerful or weak miso flavor.
Both hot pots were decent on its own, but you definitely need to play around with the sauces to add more flavor to the soup.

Pros
Curry flavored hot pot: it was one of their specials which was delicious. Instead of adding chili spices or oils, they mixed in curry spices into the broth. They add in a perfect mixture of thinly sliced meats along with an assortment of vegetables.
Service: the workers here are welcoming and took the time to explain some of their popular items and specials promotions they had going on.
Cons
Drinks: I ordered yogurt green tea which didn’t taste like green tea or yogurt. I also tried their watermelon slush which was their summer special drink but it was more on the icy side.

Omg I was super excited to try this place out! I never had an individual platter of hot pot like this before! The wait was gruesome and felt like forever! Anyways, I finally ordered the HIT spicy and a mango green tea (not pictured). Service was good. It came out at a reasonable time and of course was bubbling! I love eating spicy food so I wanted to see if the HIT spicy was really as spicy as everyone makes it out to be. It wasn’t that spicy but it was a good kind of spicy… like it eventually builds up! I got pretty bloated and full from it though haha! The mango green tea was pretty refreshing as well.
All in all, I would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area :)

One of the worst dining experience. Took over 30 minutes to get our food. Apparently the cooks «lost the order ticket» okkkkaayy~~~ Everyone that got seated before got their food before. I think the waitress just forgot to put in our order.
The food was okay. Didn’t have much flavor. I got the beef hot pot and it started to taste all mushy. The only thing I really like is the sauces. They gave me a $ 5 dollar gift card for forgetting our order… I don’t know when I’ll use it. Maybe if I’m desperate enough hahaha.

Came here before the place was open for dinner hours with a group of friends after bowling. So the place opened and we were seated nearby the door which was fine.
This isn’t your traditional hot pot place with the hot pot in the center instead everyone gets to order an individual hot pot bowl so you can be selfish was much as you want: P
I shared the Kimchi Seafood hot pot (number 6 on the menu) with the bf as we weren’t feeling too hungry plus an order of their Mango Green Tea. I asked the server if they could switch the noodles into the Udon noodles and you can actually do that but what you can’t do it replace the meat with something else.
Service was actually decent, we were getting our waters refilled whenever we asked and the pretty lady was really polite to us.
I wasn’t too crazy with the hot pot but it’s decent.
